-Introduction and Description of the 7 themes that are used to determine life.

-Analyze compound formation.

-Focus on Biomolecule- Carbohydrate, macromolecules are starch, glycogen, cellulose
Function of carbs=energy, cell wall and structural support

-Focus on Biomolecule-Lipids, macromolecules are fat and phospholipids
Function of lipids= store energy, hormones, insulation in animal tissue
