DRAMA FOR LIFE CALL FOR 2015 ADMISSIONS
VISION
To be Africa’s leader in an interdisciplinary and integrated approach to Applied Drama, Arts
Education and Drama Therapy.
MISSION
Drama for Life enhances dialogue for purposes of social transformation through research,
teaching, learning and community engagement. We achieve this through a critical reflexive and
therapeutic approach that relates to current social realities and the rich indigenous knowledge
of Africa.
2015 ADMISSIONS FOR THE DRAMA FOR LIFE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME
We invite all interested candidates committed to HIV/AIDS, Human Rights and Social Justice,
Diversity and Peace Building, and Environmental Sustainability to apply for admissions and
become part of Africa’s future generation of arts leaders in education, development, therapies
and activism through Drama for Life. This programme is particularly suitable for mature
candidates who wish to become expert educators, therapists, development practitioners,
theatre-makers and activists in the fields of Applied Drama, Drama Therapy and Drama in
Education.
Drama for Life has alumni and scholars from twenty countries namely Botswana, Cameroon,
Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Germany, Israel, DRC, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique,
Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
