Self-Critique • Organize into groups of 3 (preferably different from the usual proximity-based breaks) • Take three copies of questions 1 – 6 (you and 2 peers), one copy of questions 7 – 9 (just your own project) Some Points on Giving Effective Critique 1. Before you speak, know the goals 2. Good and bad != what you like or don’t like (but both are valuable) 3. Talk as much about what it is, as what it isn’t Some Points on Receiving Effective Critique 1. Start by just listening 2. Ask clarifying questions 3. Refer back to your goals 4.
