Bedroom This is the bedroom of Rae Nae. Scenes of her breaking down and being alone are filmed here. This location is the bedroom of one of group member’s sibling. We chose this room because of the potential it had with the natural lighting that was provided by the big window panes and translucent curtains that allow the lighting from the sunlight. We manipulated the different angles of the room and its space. A difficulty we had faced is the 2. Toilet This is the toilet that is used to film the medication intake scenes. This location is the toilet one of our group member’s siblings. We chose this location because we could manipulate the lighting from the toilet windows that we had in this toilet. This particular toilet was chosen because it had the simplicty that we were looking for in our location for a toilet. 3. Maid’s Room This is the room where Rae Nae also had a breakdown. This location is the toilet of one of our group member. We chose this room because of its simplicity being an empty room. We chose this location because it is a well lit room; natural lighting with sunshine coming from the windows. A difficulty we faced while shooting in this location was the weather. External Locations 1. Balcony This is the scene where Rae Nae spends her time waiting for Nathan on the balcony. Scenes of her waiting for Nathan to come was filmed here. This balcony is the balcony of Taylors University Lakeside Campus, block E, level 2. We chose this location because it had provided a wide area for movement and ample of natural lighting exposure. We could film from different angles and film big movements. A difficulty we had faced in this location was the uncertainty of the weather. The filming duration was based on the movement and exposure of sunlight. 2. Locker scene This is the scene where Rae Nae gets bullied by her school bullies. She was shoved about and thrown around towards the lockers. These lockers were located at the Taylors University Lakeside Campus, commercial block parking lot. We chose this location because we wanted a scene where it was dark and poorly lit. We filmed this scene at night where we used artificial lights as our source of light. A difficulty we had faced was due to the tight space we were put in, this restricted our movements and unable us to shoot from many angles. 3. Tunnel This is the scene where Rae Nae would spend her days alone when she would walk alone around school. This tunnel was located at Taylors University’s Lakeside Campus, commercial block parking lot. We filmed this scene in the day while using natural lighting. A difficulty we had faced while shooting in the space was the limited space it provided. It was also very dirty; this restricted the movement of the actor. 4. Corridor This is the scene were Rae Nae would be first bullied by a bunch of school bullies. This corridor is located at the Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. We chose this hallway, corridor because we wanted to film a hallway which had this simplicity and was well lit. We manipulated the length of this corridor for the filming of different angles. We did not face any significant difficulty while shooting in this area. 5. Classroom This is the scene where Rae Nae was to receive a present from her friend. The scenes of the situations of her and her friend being in the classroom was filmed here. We chose this classroom because it was brightly lit that produced amazing shots. We enjoyed working with the every changing setting of the background that consisted of moving clouds. We manipulated the space of the classroom to film at different angles. One of the difficulties that we faced was the ever changing lighting of the classroom due to the sunset of the background. 6. Suria KLCC-KLCC Park This is the location where we filmed the happy memory part of the video. We chose this location because of its beautiful background that was filled with greenery and flowers. The beautiful background was to bring colour to our video. We used natural lighting to light up our video. We were able to film at different angles easily because we had a wide and space to shoot. One of the major drawbacks of this location was that it was an outdoor location. Given that it was the raining season, we had to suit our filming to the condition of the weather. 7. Pasar Seni LRT Station This location was where we filmed the precious moments from Rae Nae’s memory of her friendship with Natalia. We chose this location because it was beautiful with its scenery of the urban Kuala Lumpur lifestyle. We used natural lighting as a source of light. We were able to film at different angles because it was an open space that doesn’t restrict movement whether it is from the actor’s side or the director’s point of view. On the unfortunate side, we had to do our filming based on the condition of the weather.
