Vocabulary associated with beach At the Beach Prepare student to be able to identify the items they usually bring to the beach, describe items found at the beach and identify common beach activities. Students should be able to state items they bring to the beach, activities they can do at the beach and identify objects which can be found at the beach. At 2pm, it would appear an ideal time to teach as most students have taken their lunch. I had a good variety of activities. The flow was excellent with the more difficult activities at the start and the more light and fun activities towards the end. My lesson was clear and well organized. I had good student focus and was clear and efficient in my explanations and instructions. Students were initially quiet and nervous when it was time for them to reply to me. I should consider arranging more pair work activities at the start of lesson to get them to warm up quicker. Students also really enjoyed the charades activity. Her level of understanding of vocabulary and pronunciation is high intermediate. She just needs to be more confident in her English language ability. Claudio was a very enthusiastic and eager learner. He was eager to know more words than what was initially taught. His speaking and pronunciation was high intermediate. Pedro is a very fast learner. He manage to catch up with the lesson and vocabulary although he was 15 minutes late. His pronunciation of words was good. Herminia was very confident in expressing her views in English. However, she has a tendency to speak in Spanish. She did not really enjoy the activity on charades. Her level of speaking and comprehending English is high intermediate.
