KNOWSLEY LEISURE AND CULTURE PARK
Performance Space / Events
Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park is a state of the art £16m leisure facility located in the heart of the
community in Huyton. The Park has a sports hall which transforms into a fantastic theatre space and hosts
a wide range of events for all the family. Events include sporting events, community shows, public
exhibitions, theatrical performances, live stage shows, concerts, celebration events, conferences and
religious festivals and celebrations.
Through the events programme we hope to attract new people into the centre to experience the whole range
of opportunities on offer. Our wish is that people can enjoy a great night out at the Leisure and Culture Park
and that this increases social engagement between residents and the local community.
With high quality staging, lighting and sound equipment available, Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park will
aim to attract a variety of concerts and events to suit everyone’s tastes. The seating capacity of 850 will help
ensure that the facility is capable of attracting high profile performers.
The facilities team will work closely with organisers to ensure that all events operate efficiently, effectively
and exceed customer expectation. We have introduced reserved seating as of 2014. Doors to the space
open half an hour before performance.
Location / Car Parking
Based in the heart of the community, the venue is served well by local bus routes and a train station in
Huyton town centre – a short distance away making the venue easily accessible to local and national
visitors.
The venue has its own car parking with over 200 spaces plus spaces for people with disabilities. There is an
overspill car park at King George V Sports Complex, Longview Lane, Huyton which is a 10 to 15 minute walk
away from the venue.

Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park (KLCP) aims to be accessible and welcoming to all. We hope to make
