When we become preoccupied with “what if’s” and worst-case scenarios, worry becomes a problem of its own. The good news is that worrying is a mental habit we can learn to break. We can train our brain to stay calm and collected and to look at life from a more balanced perspective. Dr. Jeanne Segal is a sociologist, psychologist, and author.
