Answer the following:
1. The five individuals, Louise Owen (the violinist), Brad Williams (the
radio news anchor), Rick Baron (guy from Cleveland), Bob Petrella (TV
writer, producer, and Pittsburgh Steeler fan), and Marilu Henner (actress)
which one displayed the most amazing memory feat in your opinion. Explain.
2. Identify the two specific brain regions that seem more developed in these
five individuals than in most people (this is found in beginning of Part 2).
3. All of these individuals are successful, due in part to their superior
autobiographic memory. If you had this gift, what would you do with it?
4. Some people with this memory (like Jill Price, who was briefly mentioned
in the segment) are haunted by their memories of failure and rejection.
These five individuals seem to adjust better than Jill Price, but these five
all seem to have some relationship issues. All are slightly obsessive and
none (except Marilu Henner who is on her third husband) are involved in a
serious relationship. So, would you want this "gift" in spite of these
concerns? Explain yourself.
