MyPyramid ‘Go Fish’ Cards Game Materials: decks of MyPyramid ‘Go Fish’ Cards Students will learn about the different food groups as they participate in card game ‘Go Fish’ using cards from different food categories of the food pyramid. 1. Introduce the activity and explain card game ‘Go Fish’ for students who are unfamiliar. 2. The game can be played with 2- 5 players. Each student begins with four cards. Students take turns asking one another for a certain card. If the student has the card, they must give it to the other student. If not, they respond ‘Go Fish!’ and the student will choose a card from the deck. The goal of the game is to obtain the greatest number of paired cards by asking other players and drawing from the deck. The students will continue playing until all the cards in the deck are gone and have been paired. This game of ‘Go Fish’ will be played with their food group cards. 3.
