EBSCOhost Collection Manager is a tool used by
customers to initiate and monitor purchasing of
eBook/Audiobook content.
ECM is designed to perform the following functions for
library administrators and librarians granted :
• Search/view eBook/Audiobook content
• View EBSCO’s collections
• Build custom collections
• Select/purchase eBook/Audiobook content
• Utilize Patron Driven Acquisition
How To Access
1. go to http://ecm.ebscohost.com
2. enter the User Name and Password
3. click Sign In
Customers may click on the “Forgot your password?” link for sign in
assistance. We will have the ability to reset ECM passwords for customers
just like we are able to reset normal EBSCOadmin passwords.

name and information listed, as well as options to
Search, Subject Sets, Collections, Publishers, Reports,
view “My Lists”, and “My PDAs”.

Refine Your Results
Limiters chosen during the initial search will show under
Limiters. You may remove them by clicking the red x.
The chosen limiters in the initial search will be checked on in
the Refine Your Results section.
Customers may refine their results list further by selecting
additional limiters by clicking on the arrow, adjusting the
limiter chosen, and clicking update.

• By default owned titles are included in result list
• There is a limiter to exclude already owned titles from search

• The Publisher List is alphabetical, and you’ll see an A-Z
list at the top of the page to jump to a specific
publisher you are interested in.

Subject Sets and Collections give a librarian the ability to view managed
lists of eBook titles grouped together under various topics.

Selecting a Subject Set or Collection displays a list of all titles in the set
which can be purchased individually or as a complete set.
Preview a Title
• From any result list, either search, Subject Set, or
Collection, you can view a detail page and preview
actual pages from a title.
• Click the title link to view the detail record for the
chosen title.
Purchasing Titles
• There are purchase controls for individual titles as well as for
the whole page
• PDA eligible titles are labeled on result list with “Add to List /
PDA” option
