organization pursing 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) outsourcing.
2008: MTSU Continuing Education, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Conducted Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
training for industry professionals. Training consisted of 36 classroom hours and students were required to complete a
business centered Process Improvement Project. Green Belt was certified through MTSU
2007: Tennessee Center for Child Welfare, Measures Seminar, Conducted training seminars in various topics including;
Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria, Strategic Planning, Project Management, and Operating Metrics.

2008 - Student Assign-Supervised Research (GRAD). 1 student, Supervised Graduate Assistant conducting research
related to the economic effects of lead poisoning of children in TN. Work was supported by TN State Lead Elimination
Action Program (LEAP) grant. Independent study ultimately resulted in a research paper published in a Peer Reviewed
Medical Journal.
