Organizations To Support People Affected By Chronic Illness
Have you recently been told by a doctor that you have a particular chronic illness? Or are you a
family member or friend of someone who has received such a diagnosis? If so, you should be
aware that there are national and local organizations dedicated to supporting patients and
family members suffering from various chronic illnesses. These organizations are a valuable
source of information to help educate patients and family members. In many cases, support
groups either for patients and/or family members in your community can be found by
contacting these organizations.
