DRESS CODE
Uniforms are not required for ECA students.
However, modesty, respect, and good taste should
be evident in student dress.
Nothing too low cut, too short, too sheer, or any
other dress that interferes with or distracts from
the learning environment should be worn in a
classroom setting.
This includes no caps, hoods, MP3 players/ear
buds, or other headwear inside the classroom.
CELL PHONES
Personal cell phones are not to be used during
class time and should be turned off (not just
vibrate).
Use of cell phone includes (but is not limited to)
cell phone tasks such as placing and/or receiving
calls, texting, web browsing, listening to music,
etc.
CLASS AND SCHOOL ATTENDENCE
School attendance is critical to a child's education.
All students are expected to follow the LPSS and
SLCC attendance policies for their respective
classes. The attendance guidelines are as follows:
For an LPSS class, if a student misses more than
______ days, they may not receive high school
credit for that class.
SLCC Attendance
- For an SLCC 3-hour class that meets twice a week, if a
student misses more than three (3) days, they may
not receive college credit.
- For an SLCC 3-hour class that meets once a week, if a
student misses more than two (2) days, they may not
receive college credit.
•
NOTE: For SLCC attendance purposes, ALL absences
(including absences that would be considered
“excused” by LPSS standards) are counted as an
absence.
Transportation
Yellow bus transportation:
**AM pick up:
Out of city limits: 3 “centrally located spots” in
Youngsville, Milton, and Carencro.
