Staff members introduced themselves. Roll was taken and is attached.
Ingley will email copy of proposal and schedule to team members.

Discussed project schedule. Several items have been completed. Ingley has not received notice
to proceed from the Hinkley Center. Ingley may submit a new schedule to indicate a delay in
doing the first preliminary experimental run based on the fact that one our TAB members is
donating a 1300deg C steam generator to the project. The delivery on this is 4 weeks , therefore
the first run may be delayed a week or two.
Lee will be the team leader for this project. All correspondence from team members should be
addressed to Lee and copied to Ingley and Chung.
Lee talked to Tim Townsend’s graduate student about synthetic MSW. Lee will have a proposal
by next Monday’s meeting on how to make up our samples.
Ingley will purchase a can of dog food and determine its moisture content by next week. Dog
food was suggested as a method of including food waste.
Ingley will begin to contact TAG members to line up first TAB meeting.
Gasifier has been mounted on the new cart but some piping needs to be completed.
Ingley will meet with Lee on Wednesday to discuss pressure testing of gasifier.
Lee reported on meeting with FICE on mass spec requirements. We may need to take bag
samples for our first runs to determine the effectiveness of our gas cleaning apparatus before
connecting the mass spec on-line. The mass spec requires very clean gas for analysis.
Steve Belser will work with Ingley to design gasifier connection to steam generator. Material
selection will be very important in this application.
Next meeting will be September 26, Monday at 9AM in Ingley’s office. We will brainstorm
solutions to the MSW feeding method for the bench scale gasifier.
