WELCOME TO THE 2015 TELETHON & AUCTION
The 14th Annual HOPEsudbury Telethon & Auction is ten lively hours of LIVE TV,
showcasing local talent (singing, dancing and more) and tantalizing auction items.
This is a special time in Sudbury when we all come together for a worthwhile
cause – to help others in need.
This Guide contains everything you need to make the most of this year’s event:

A listing of the fabulous items and services up for auction. You will find all the
auction item details at www.hopesudbury.org starting on Wednesday,
October 21st.

A listing of all the wonderful performers appearing in the Telethon.

The rules for bidding. We recommend you BID EARLY and BID HIGH!
All bidding will take place ONLINE. That means you can bid from your
computer, smart phone or tablet. Place your bid anytime, anywhere…while you
are on the soccer field, dining out, waiting for an appointment or watching the
Telethon. Features include:

The ability to check your bidding status online at any time.

Notifications when you have been outbid (so you can up your offer!).

Automatic bidding based on your maximum bid and the individual item bid
increment. You can enter all of your starting bids and maximum bids and let
the auction platform do the work for you.

Expanded bidding hours (while the Telethon begins at noon, online bidding
opens at 7 a.m. and ends at 9:45 p.m.).
Direct contributions to HOPEsudbury are welcome. You may mail a check to P.O.
Box 802, Sudbury, MA 01776 or donate online at www.hopesudbury.org.
ABOUT HOPEsudbury
Our organization emerged from the tragedy of September 11, 2001 to bring hope
and humanity to our community…to reassure our children that people are really
good at heart… and to demonstrate the value of working together. It’s a positive
message that suits Sudbury and one we hope we have modeled well over the
years. The bulk of the funds raised at the Telethon support The HOPE Fund,
which provides short-term financial assistance to local residents with emergency
need. Last year, $52,000 was given to 64 families who turned to the Fund for
support.
THE POWER OF COMMUNITY
HOPEsudbury Board of Directors: Christina Granahan and Jackie Kabat, CoPresidents; Corinne Meyer, Treasurer; Beth Maier, Clerk; Beth Farrell, Samantha Hammel
Bower, and Rachel Goodrich, Telethon Co-Chairs; Carole Ann Baer, Jody Kablack, Marilyn
Martino, Cara Maxwell, Melissa Perla, Kirsten Roopenian, Jill Stansky, and Tracy Stewart.
Telethon Committee Members (in addition to the Board)
Tricia Brunner, Brian Granahan, Anne-Marie Greenberg, Wendy Heye, Siobhan Hullinger,
Anna Lee, Michelle Lombardi, Linda Martindale, Lynn Puorro and Linda Wade.
