Tiered Lesson Plan
Teacher:
Miss O’Connell
Date:
July 16, 2010
Grade Level:
6th Grade
Subject or Topic
Math - Fractions
Duration:
1 ½ weeks – 60 minute periods
Pre-Assessment
Strategy:
The students will complete a pre-assessment on fractions through
edHelper (www.edhelper.com/math/fractrionsfg1507.htm).
The results from the pre-assessment will aid in the determination of the
levels the students are on during instruction regarding the mathematical
concept.
