ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
K.L.N.College of Engineering is the first self
financing Co-educational Engineering College in
Madurai started in 1994 by munificence of
Pilanthropist & well wishers in Sourashtra
community which is a Linquistic minority in
Tamilnadu.
Our Institute is sponsored by a
committee of eminent Industrialist & Acdemicians
lead by enthusiastic, educationalist and Industrialist
Thiru. K.L.N. Krishnan. The college has been
approved by All India Council for Technical
Education, New Delhi, and it is affiliated to Anna
University Chennai.

is situated in a quiet environment about 11 kms from

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Electronics and Instrumentation
department was started is the year 2001. The
department has well established laboratories to
impart good practical training to the students. The
department has a team of experienced and dedicated
faculty members with different field of
specialization. The department has well equipped
Instrumentation laboratory, Transducer laboratory
and Process control laboratory with necessary
computing facilities.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
VLSI is the core subject for UG (EEE , EIE,
ECE) students and for PG (CE, C&I and AE).
This course covers the methods of VLSI design by
introducing the individual steps of an VLSI design
flow in detail. This course covers the most of the
universities curriculum for VLSI design. and it
bridges the gap between academic and industrial
approaches for VLSI design
