Food Production Manager

Forde May Consulting Ltd is delighted to be the recruiting partner for a leading
manufacturer and supplier of fresh and chilled ‘food to go’ to premier retailers
and food service operators. This award winning company is now looking to add
a Food Production Manager to its already successful team.
The Job
As the Food Production Manager you will continue to develop and drive the
manufacturing strategy and oversee the production function. The successful
candidate will report directly to the Directors and will have the opportunity to work
in an expanding and diverse Food Production unit. The main objectives for the
role will be to continuously achieve operational improvements across all business
functions, to include Manufacturing, Quality, NPD and Supply Chain.
The Person
The ideal candidate will currently hold the position of; Senior Production
Manager, Operations Manager, Shift Manager, Continuous Improvement
Manager (or equivalent), Assistant Factory Manager, Assistant Operations
Manager.
-Preferably be degree educated or equivalent.
-Have extensive experience within food manufacturing.
-Have a fresh food industry understanding.
-Have the ability to influence change.
-Proven track record of being able to reduce costs, whilst improving performance.
-Have an outgoing and persuasive attitude.
-Have the ability to lead, motivate and manage people.
