Dave Sitaram: Central 1 Board Member
Board member
Mr. Sitaram served as a director of Credit Union Central of Ontario Limited
from 2001 to 2008; he was elected Vice Chair, and chair of the Pension
committee and a member of the Audit committee.
In addition to his experience at CUCO, he has been a member of the Auto
Workers Community Credit Union for more than 30 years, and a past board
member for 20 years. Dave served as Chairperson, Vice Chair, and Chairperson
of the Executive Committee and Past Chair of the Audit Committee.
Dave was recently acclaimed to the Board of Oshawa Community Credit Union and will begin his term following
the Annual General Meeting in April 2011.
Past Chair of the Board and a current Director for the Canadian Co-operative Association, Dave is also a member
of the International Program Committee, and also a member of the Audit Committee.
A Director with The Co-operators Group Ltd., Dave is currently the Chair of the Conduct Review Committee, and
a member of the Youth and Sustainability Committee.
Dave was Canada’s representative on the International Cooperative Alliance America’s Board from 2005 to
2010.
He is currently a Director with Central 1, and was the past Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee and a
member of the Conduct Review Committee. He is currently a member of the Investment and Loan Committee
and the trade services Committee.
