Goals: This course is designed to provide the student with a working knowledge of the essential principles and concepts of management theory and practice. It is structured to develop a concise framework inter-relating the major business disciplines and a comprehensive perspective to organize additional study in management. Practical applications of the manager’s role in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling are demonstrated and explored. Objectives: To give a broad picture about management functions and changing forces in its environment. To enable students acquire basic skills for planning and decision making. To let students gain organizational structure analysis and design skills.
