A word from the Auctioneer;
This has been our busiest year yet with over 20 000 lots
processed and some extraordinary hammer prices on many
interesting and unexpected items.
We are very grateful to all our vendors and purchasers and
anticipate an even better year in 2012. Entries now invited
for all our forthcoming sales.
Having introduced our regular monthly valuation days in
St. Albans, we look forward to our new valuation days in
Stow-on-the-Wold commencing February- these will be on
the second Thursday of every month and should mean yet
more eclectic items coming to Towcester for sale…
We are sorry to be saying goodbye to Ray- one of our
porters, who is retiring after five years- we wish him and
Gill all the best for the future.
Due to increasing costs in these difficult financial times and
with effect from September 2012, our buyer’s premium will
rise to 17.5%- the first rise in eight years…
Finally, on behalf of all the team at J P Humbert
Auctioneers, can we wish you all a very Happy Christmas
and a healthy and prosperous New Year!
Kind Regards
Jonathan Humbert
