When and how well did I use another language here ? What difficulties did I experience in
communicating ? How did I overcome those difficulties ? How creative was I in explaining things if
I did not find the correct word ? Did I improve my language skills ?
Mother tongue :
How was it to speak in my mother tongue in an international context ? Did I make myself
understood ? Did I have to adapt the words I use ? Did I understand everyone else ?
Learning to learn :
'Learning to learn' is the ability to pursue and persist in learning, to organise one's own learning,
including through effective management of time and information, both individually and in gorups.
This competence includes awareness of one's own learning process and needs, identifying available
opportunitites, and the ability to overcome obstacles in order to learn successfully.
What were my learning goals ? Did I achieve them ? How did I learn ? Did I learn in unexpected
ways ? What methods did I use to evaluate what I learned ? How will I use what I learned ?
What was my intercultural learning process in this course ? How did I improve my ability to work
in a team ? Did I take initiative to make the most of this course, and change things if there were
things I thought could be changed/might be improved ? Did I participate in the social aspects of the
course, make sure that everyone felt included and take action in order to ensure everyone's
wellbeing ?
Did I facilitate any sessions during the event ? Did I take initiative and propose things that could be
done ? Did I take any chances during the course to express my creativity and use new knowledge
and skills gained ? Did I seize any opportunities of networking and cooperation ?
How willing was I to get involved in new forms of cultural experience here ?
This is a self-assessment for you personally. You can write a few sentences of new skills and
competences you feel you have gained which will be included in your certificate at the completion
of the Summer School.

you would like to be included as learning outcomes in your final certificate. You can also write
