Español 1 Unidad 2: Keynote presentation
ESSENTIAL QUESTION: How can I describe the important people in my
life?
Mission: Create a Keynote presentation describing yourself and the
various people in your life.
Role: You are creating a Keynote presentation to share information
about yourself and the important people in your life. Your slides will
be accompanied by a voiceover giving your descriptions.
*Exemplary work will be submitted to www.teachertube.com*

You will answer the question: How can I describe the important people
in my life?
RESEARCH
You will apply the many lessons you’ve learned this unit to create
your presentation.
You will need to look up new vocabulary.

You will share the Keynote presentation with the class.

You will reflect on the EQ.
You will do a written reflection about your process and product.

The video should be between 2-4 minutes long.

Your speech must be CLEAR.

No more than 10 words should appear on each slide. Choose wisely.

At minimum you must include: name, age, (dis)likes, adjectives,
physical description. You *must* use words/phrases from “Más
Palabras para Ti.”
Etapas (Steps)
1) Decide who you will describe.
2) Create one slide at a time using appealing and informative
images. Choose the words that will appear on the slides
carefully. (see Planning Guide below)
3) Write your script for each slide as you go along.
4) Have several students peer edit your work.
5) Record the voice over with the corresponding slides. When you
record, speak enthusiastically so that the presentation is more
appealing and interesting!
6) Edit and enhance the presentation. Be creative! Add music,
effects, videos, cool transitions, and animation.
