Major Project – El Video «Mi vida»
You MUST follow this checklist below to receive full credit for this Project:

______ Slides 2-15: Statements about yourself—physical characteristics, personality traits, hobbies,
preferences and things that you enjoy. Use «yo soy. . » to say ‘I am. . . ‘ and «yo tengo. . .» to say ‘I
have. . .’ Don’t forget «me gusta. . . » to say ‘I like. . .’ or «me encanta. . .» for ‘I love. . . ‘
______ Intermittent slides that bring the total to 20: Pictures of self and things that illustrate
characteristics about you.
______ Slides 21-25: Statements about your family and characteristics that you and they might have in
common. Describe who they are and what they look like. Use «tener» to describe what they have
(eyes, hair, age, relationships).
______ Slides 26-28: Pictures or illustrations of your family or things that typify them.
______ Slides 29-40: Statements about your friends. Describe who is your closest and what they look
like. Talk about his/her preferences. Use «Le gusta. . .» for ‘He/she likes. . .’Talk about things that
you have in common or things that you prefer to do together. Use «nosotros/nosotras» when talking
about yourself with others.
______ Slides 41-45: Your photos or illustrations of your friends and what you guys do together.

______ Slides 46-55: Talk about things you like to do and when you do them. If you like to go to the
beach in the summer, say « Yo voy a la playa en el verano después de que la escuela termine.» Tell
who you go with and how you get there. Attach some photos of the experience or google some
images that remind you of the times that you have done this.
______ Slide ???: Finish with a conclusion statement about who you are or what type of friends you
have. Use «Me encanta. . . » to say that you adore something.
CHECK—You should have written at least 30 statements in complete Spanish sentences.
You should have attached at least 20 photos or google images to illustrate the text.
You should have slowed down the music to enable your video to last > 3 mins.
You saved all of the work that you did to the ANIMOTO video for future reference.
