S&W is committed to developing a tiered supply chain and building long-term relationships with both Strategic Partners and those suppliers involved in framework arrangements. We will work with our suppliers to build excellence and sustainability into our products and services and this will result in exceptional delivery to our customers.

Procurement will manage and guide the business to ensure that company spend is both efficient and effective and will maximise commercial targets including margin.

S&W recognises the importance of managing Corporate Responsibility issues within the

Supply Chain. We will create an environment for a continuous improvement and innovation specifically in the areas of:

 Sustainability – o Waste o Materials o Energy o Water

 We will foster an Ethical approach to sourcing and source locally where possible.

 Fair treatment of Suppliers o Honesty o Prompt payment

Our procurement approach is to continue to create a best in class supply chain, developing long-term relationships with both Strategic Partners and Key Suppliers.

Payment

We will pay our suppliers on time and in line with our agreed commercial terms.

Performance Measurement

We will implement Service Level agreements with our long term partners, we will measure performance, give objective feedback and agree corrective action plans and share best practice.

Corporate Responsibility

Our aim is to reduce the negative and increase the positive impacts of S&W activities within the communities in which we operate. Suppliers selection decisions will take into account significant CR impacts which will include:-

Security

S&W provide Design & Construct services for our Customers across a wide variety of their estate portfolio, often in a live environment and often as the appointed key holder.

Providing our service offer for our Customers creates a number of unique, separate and combined challenges to ensure the security requirements of our customers is maintained.

We will work with our suppliers to identify and understand these challenges and ensure our systems and procedures support our Customer’s security objectives.

Health & Safety

S&W is committed to the provision of a safe and healthy working environment where everyone is valued, treated with respect and consulted on health and safety issues. The

Company encourages and promotes participation, commitment and involvement in health and safety activities at all levels in order to fulfill legal requirements and to achieve risk control.

No punitive action will be taken against anyone who raises health and safety

concerns through the appropriate channels.
