REGION V KCACTF COVER SHEET FOR ALL FULL-LENGTH SCRIPTS For EACH play submitted, playwrights should submit TWO DOCUMENTS as email attachments: 1) this cover sheet completed with all appropriate information and submitted to region5nppcover@gmail.com. All coversheets should be titled with the play title and the author’s name – The best play ever by Pat Carriere .pdf 2) the script in PDF format, which should have a TITLE PAGE but no author or school identification, submitted to region5fulllength@gmail.com The PDF file must be named as the title of your play. For example: If your play is titled, This Play is a Real Winner, your file should be This play is a real winner.pdf. Of course eliminate any formatting in the title that won’t allow it to save. Any files titled “my play”, “kcactf” or any other generic name will be returned. ENSURE that your name and contact information is absent from every page of the PDF script, title page and file name. This is a “blind” submission selection process, so we are making every effort to have the outside readers influenced only by the script—not the name or institutional affiliation. FINALLY, ALSO SUBMIT THE COVER SHEET AND SCRIPT TO THE NATIONAL OFFICE in one email (ghenry@kennedy-center.org). A completed submission then should consist of three emails, two to Region V and one to Gregg Henry at the National Office. THE DEADLINE FOR submission at the national level for most of the awards in Michael Kanin Playwriting Awards Program is December 1 st, 2014. The Ken Ludwig Playwriting Scholarship submission deadline is Feb. 1st, 2015. For the David Mark Cohen Award: submit the cover sheet and script to the Region V site only. Do not submit the David Mark Cohen entries to the National Office—except for full length plays that are part of the Ken Ludwig award entry. THE DEADLINE for submission for the David Mark Cohen award (a regional award) is the November 1, 2014. Please note: You must enter your play in a specific Michael Kanin Award category. Please check a box on this form designating entry category.
