1. Pupils are introduced to the Caritas Award scheme.
2. Pupils express interest in scheme.
3. Co-ordinators indicate provisional numbers to SCES.
1. Co-ordinators enrol Caritas pupils with SCES.
2. GP1 Powerpoint used with Caritas pupils (and/or in Year
Assembly).
3. Pupils reflect on the meaning of “Caritas” and its implications
for their actions and complete Caritas Journal for GP1.
4. Co-ordinators contact local parishes to facilitate pupil contact.
1. Pupils reflect on their talents and how they can use these in
school and parish. **
2. Pupils arrange witness activities in school and parish.
3. Co-ordinators add pupils’ witness activities in school and parish
to Enrolment spreadsheet.
4. Co-ordinators ensure that all pupils are ‘signed up’ for activities
in school and parish.
1. GP2 Powerpoint used with Caritas pupils (and/or in Year
Assembly).
2. Pupils reflect further on the meaning of “Caritas” and complete
Caritas Journal for GP2.
3. Pupils record evidence of Witness activities in school and
parish.
4. Co-ordinators monitor Witness activities logsheets

4. Co-ordinators monitor Witness logsheets.
5. Co-ordinators issue guidance on final submission.
6. Pupils choose format for final report.
1. Pupils review Caritas Journal to gather material for inclusion on
final submission.
2. Pupils create final report.
3. Pupils complete Witness logsheets for school and parish,
including brief evaluations.
4. Co-ordinators monitor completion of final reports.
5. Co-ordinators monitor completion of Witness logsheets.
1. Co-ordinators issue Evidence Submission Sheet.
2. Pupils complete Evidence Submission Sheet and submit:
a) Witness logsheet for school activities;
b) Witness logsheet for parish activities;
c) Caritas Journal;
d) Final report.
3. Co-ordinators check & sign Evidence Submission Sheet.
4. Co-ordinators submit Evidence to SCES.
5. Co-ordinators retain Caritas Folders.
1. Caritas Awards Board review submitted evidence and make
awards.
1. SCES informs schools of Awards results.
2. SCES invites award winners to Caritas Awards Ceremony
