Happy Hour Fundraisers
 Is there a bar where you and your friends or coworkers love to hang out? Why not
ask them to pair up to help with your Light The Night fundraising?
 Some bars in the area will gladly host non-profits happy hour fundraisers.
 There are different ways bars hold fundraising events. Here are the most common:
o In exchange for a $10 donation, patrons receive a wristband that gives them
exclusive specials.
o A specific % of the sales from a set time period will be donated.
o $0.50 or $1 from every item sold between a set time period will be donated.
 Make sure to spread the
word and get people
there! If you bring a
crowd that the bar
doesn’t normally see,
they’ll be more inclined to
host events for you again!
 Get some items to give away like Light The Night gear or some gift cards to local
businesses to make the event more fun!
