Payment terms: A non-refundable deposit of £50 per person must be paid at the time of booking.
The balance must be paid 48 hours prior to your arrival in one payment. Twin rooms will be
allocated. Anyone wishing to have a single room please note there will be a £15 supplement
charge p/p if available.
All charges include VAT and may be paid in cash, cheque (Lancaster Golf Club Ltd) or Delta, Visa,
MasterCard, Switch.
DORMY HOUSE ARRANGEMENTS 2016
The charges, terms & conditions for Dormy House reservations for 2016 are set out in the following
paragraphs. The Club is able to accommodate 18 guests, all in en-suite rooms, mainly twin rooms with
a limited number of en-suite single rooms. Please ensure all members of your party are aware of these
before arrival and in particular the dress requirements and golfing standards.

CHARGES: Standard package is 2 nights for which the fees are as follows: -
a) Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights -
£140 per person per night.
b) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights
£120 per person per night.
Added benefit: All Dormy guests receive 10% discount on beverages at the bar !
Terms & Conditions 2016
1. Standards of dress
In the interest of maintaining acceptable standards of dress, yet promoting an open and forward
thinking environment, Lancaster Golf Club requires that all members and visitors comply with
the following dress code policies and restrictions.
Clubhouse Dress Code :

Smart/casual dress throughout the clubhouse is acceptable unless otherwise advised

Golf attire is the only sportswear acceptable throughout the clubhouse

No studded footwear or golf shoes to be worn in the Lounge/Bar area.

Suitable footwear to be worn at all times
Golf Course Dress Code – Gentlemen:

Only recognised and acceptable golf attire to be worn on the course

Only recognised golf shoes to be worn on the course.

Shorts must be tailored knee length.

Sports socks may be worn with shorts but must be predominantly white

Shirts must be tucked in at all times
Golf Course Dress Code – Ladies:

As above plus:

Tailored trousers of calf or ankle length may be worn

Sleeveless shirts may be worn but must have a collar attached

Golf shirts to be tucked in unless designed to be worn out.
2.
ROOM KEYS: On arrival room keys will be issued against a refundable £5 per party deposit
which will be refunded when all keys have been returned. Keys will be issued to the organizer on
arrival.
3.
DAY OF DEPARTURE: On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated at 9am and all keys
handed in prior to commencing your morning round of golf.
4.
DRYING ROOM FACILITIES: Drying facilities are available to the rear of the members
locker room, if this is required the code number for the main door can be obtained from the from the
Secretary’s Office/ Bar Operations Manager/Professional. It is advised that you obtain this number
on arrival for use in an emergency.
5.
THE CLUB is not responsible for the loss or damage to any property and it is advisable not to
leave cash or valuables in the bedrooms
6.
STAFF GRATUITIES: A service charge is not included in the costs and if you wish to express
your appreciation in this way, kindly do so in the office or in the box located at the Dormy reception.
We would add that the catering at the club is on a separate franchise and any gratuities for the catering
staff should be given direct to them.
7.
SLOW PLAY AND USE OF BUGGIES: Slow play concerns us all; please ensure that your
party plays without delay. Please note that buggies are available to hire (weather conditions
permitting). All requests to use personal buggies must be approved by the Professional in advance.
I CONFIRM THAT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THE INFORMATION SHEETS WILL
BE PASSED TO ALL MEMBERS OF MY PARTY AND WILL NOTIFY THE SECRETARY OF
LANCASTER GOLF CLUB LTD OF ANY CHANGES IN NUMBERS AS SOON AS THEY ARE
KNOWN AND, IN ANY CASE, NOT LATER THAN SEVEN DAYS PRIOR TO THE VISIT.
