Learning Content Information Page MUSIC THEORY HUNT By Amy Norris Norrisa@schenectady.k12.ny.us 4th and 5th grade Instrumental Music Elmer/Woodlawn/Zoller Introduction This music theory treasure hunt is an interactive online project which guides students to find information about music theory by accessing information and answering questions through given links. One class period is needed to complete the hunt but previous internet usage is needed in order to complete in one class. Learners This treasure hunt is intended for 4th and 5th grade Instrumental students. Resources Computer, Internet connection, answer sheet and pencil. NYS Learning Standards Standard 2: Knowing and Using arts Materials and Resources: Students will be knowledgeable about and make use of the materials and resources available for participation in the arts in various roles. Process This project will be used by 4th and 5th grade Instrumental students as an enrichment activity. It will be completed individually in a class computer lab situation.
