CRC for Technology Education Title III Technology Literacy Challenge Grant Project Information Page Famous People of the American Revolution Click Here to View Project This project was developed as part of the Title III Technology Literacy Challenge Grant’s Capital Region Collaboration for Technology Education. 2001-2002 Kathy Velasco abbottkathy@hotmail.com 7th grade Social Studies Lynch Middle School-Greater Amsterdam Schools Introduction The project is a Treasure Hunt. Students will use the Treasure Hunt to search for information about the famous men and women of the American Revolution. Learners The students who will be using this Treasure Hunt are 7th grade social studies students. Resources The students need in order to complete this project will need: A computer lab and Internet connection. Standards New York State Standard 1: Students will use a variety of intellectual skills to demonstrate their understanding of major ideas, eras, themes, developments, and turning points in the history of the United States and New York. Process My students will use this project during a unit on the American Revolution.
