AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL ESSAY
Compose a one to two page autobiographical essay on separate sheet(s) of paper.
You may relate any special circumstances the committees should know in order to
better determine the granting of scholarships. Include any interesting, unusual or
goal-shaping incidents that have occurred during your lifetime. The
autobiography should give insight into you as a person; provide information
pertaining to your financial need, educational/career goals, and
extracurricular activities. Be specific. Include information regarding what
activities you have been involved in that are connected with the qualifications
for this scholarship. Remember to check the spelling and grammar in your
application and in your essay. Overall appearance of your application is
important, neatness counts.
