IGT Systems group combines best of IGT and Acres technology in
its system product suite
(Reno, NV – September 29, 2004) – IGT today announced the integration of Acres
Gaming and IGT Gaming Systems. The newly formed IGT Systems division will
showcase the IGT Advantage™ Casino System at the IGT Systems World and IGT
World of Games booths at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Oct. 5-7.
The IGT Advantage Casino System is a total casino management toolkit
designed to help casinos attract and retain loyal customers, improve operations,
and increase their bottom line.
IGT pioneered EZ Pay, the original casino ticketing system that ignited the
cashless revolution in casinos worldwide. Acres Gaming created Bonusing
technology, which delivers automated spontaneous jackpots and rewards to players
directly at the gaming machine. Together, the two technology leaders have become
IGT Systems, the newest business division of IGT.
