A two-part questionnaire was formulated to measure the level of awareness of the
employees. A total of 309 employees participated from the eight (8) departments. The
respondents were divided into two employment ranges namely up to 5 years and more
than 5 years. Majority or 30.42% of the respondents were 4 years tenure in the company.
The researcher validated the theories of Tomas D. Andres about thinking, feeling,
believing and practicing/acting the organizational culture of MCC. Believing and
practicing/acting are interconnected to each other while thinking and feeling are
interrelated to each other. The results were varied across segments. Overall, in beliefs,
practice and thoughts, “Your Personal Life Is Important” was ranked highest by the
employees. In feelings, “It’s My Job” was ranked highest.
To determine the differences in beliefs, practices, thoughts and feelings of MCC
employees, the researcher employed Levene’s test for homogeneity of variance. Results
showed that both groups of respondents from all department/segment have a diverse level
of standpoint with regards to thinking, feeling, believing and practicing/acting the
philosophy and culture of MCC. The standpoint from the respondents in both group and
all segments for thinking and feeling were varied. In all segments and areas covered by
Andres, except for feelings and thoughts of those with tenure of more than 5 years, the
employees’ had significant differences in their beliefs, practice, feelings and thoughts.
The researcher recommended that providing a continuous training program for the
employees of MCC. The management should have a detailed and specific definition of
the companies’ core values so that all employees will interpret the organizations’
philosophy and culture similarly.

Other recommendation is to further the study to validate the result of the presence
of an organizational culture in a company.
