Overseas Man power Company Andhra Pradesh Limited (OMCAP) is a recruiting
Agency launched by Government of Andhra Pradesh and operates under the approval
(Registration certificate No.4700/AP/ Govt. Undertaking/ 300/5/7421/2006, Dt:
22.5.2006) issued by Protector General of Emigrants, Ministry of Labour.
Government of India. The Board of Directors of the company are senior officials of
Government of Andhra Pradesh. The main objective of the company is to help the
overseas job aspirants from the exploitation of unauthorized and unscrupulous
Placement agencies.
OMCAP maintains Data Bank of Doctors, Engineers to skilled and unskilled
workers and provides overseas employer the best suited short listed candidates by
screening from the data bank, if the required candidates are not available from data bank
OMCAP mobilizes them from Advertisement in Print and Electronic Media. Interviews
to the candidates will be arranged by OMCAP at its premises or any centre convenient to
foreign employer. OMCAP is a trusted recruiting global agency and in a period of one
year could able to supply manpower to employers in Hong Kong, Middle East, and USA
with it's brand. At present OMCAP is processing many requests of Overseas Employers
to their utmost satisfaction. The people placed by us are happy and this happiness moves
us on. OMCAP provides assistance to candidates after selection in Visa, Air Ticketing
etc., through its good offices, quickens the visa and emigration formalities.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Candidates who seek registration with OMCAP should possess at least 2 years experience
in the relevant post for which he desires to be considered and should hold a valid
passport. The candidates without experience also will be registered. They will be
provided with guidance and counseling in their relevant field of interest and if required
necessary capacity building in them will be done by providing training. The registration
will be valid for 2 years. After this it will have to be renewed.
DATA BANK: The Company will maintain a computerized Data Bank of registrants.
Details of data stored can even be analyzed with reference to certain parameters and
provided to marketing agencies on a cost basis for promoting their products to the
registrants.
REGISTRATION FEE Rs. 750/- will be collected from the candidate at the time of
registration.
RENEWAL FEE Rs.200/- will be collected from the candidates after expiry of 2 years.
A grace period of 2 months is given for renewal. Renewal has to be done every 2 years.
PLACEMENTS
Overseas Manpower Company Andhra Pradesh Limited (OMCAP) will identify the
vacancies, Matching Job aspirants with Vacancies, Arranging interviews, selection,

Documentation and placement orders. Placement fee Rupees 2,000 to 10,000/- will be
collected.
CAPACITY BUILDING & PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
Training will be provided in Employability skills, Language Proficiency, Spoken/Written
English and Foreign languages.
Language proficiency Rs.500/- to Rs.1000/- will be charged.
Skill Development Rs. 1500/- to Rs.3000/- will be charged.
PASSPORT / VISA / AIR TICKET ASSISTANCE
Overseas Manpower Company Andhra Pradesh Limited (OMCAP) is having liaison
with Embassies, Travel Operators, and Passport Authorities. Passport, Visa, Air
Ticketing Assistance will be provided.
o Visa clearance Assistance fee Rupees 500/- will be collected.
o Air Ticketing Assistance fee Rs. 1000/- will be collected.
o Medical Check up fee Rs. 200/- will be collected.
o Insurance fee Rs.5000/- will be collected.

OMCAP’s ORIENTATION CUM TRAINING:
Ministry of overseas Indian affairs, New Delhi sponsored Orientation-cum-Training
for Skilled Workers going overseas is also in offing at OMCAP.It is mainly

To familiarize aspirants of foreign assignments, the language, customs, Law,
employment terms and conditions.

. To enable them to be exposed to the emerging environment of the market and
other market factors for success in their employment abroad.

. To enable candidates enhance good working practices.

. To refresh their skills to meet the needs of Foreign Employers

. To empower them to meet the challenges at work in Overseas.
Training Duration: 7-14 Days.

Specialized Trades: Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Welders, Fitters and Machine

Certification: At the conclusion of the Training, trainees will be awarded a Training
Certificate with approval from OMCAP.
Eligibility: The candidates who have been selected by the foreign employers for
Overseas Placement are eligible for this Training Programme.The candidates having
ready Passport and relevant experience are also advised to apply.
Training Centers: OMCAP will enroll the candidates and sends them to the selected
institutes for undergoing training, Some 25 ITls, Polytechnics and other Institutes are
identified for this purpose.
Training Fees: 75% Government of India Grants 25% Government of Andhra Pradesh

ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING
"The Mission of OMCAP is to bring the overseas employers and the aspiring youth
together thus eliminating unauthorized and unscrupulous private placement agencies,
identify overseas employment opportunities, assist the aspirants by coordinating
passports, Visas, air tickets, organize occupational competency certificates of
international standards and enhance the employability by development of personality
through training in spoken and written English in general and the language and

It is observed that many of foreign job seekers are experts in their fields, still they failed
to convince interviewers due to lack of proficiency in English Language. Many of the job
seekers especially, who hailed from rural back ground are unable to spell or speak even
their personal details in English. To overcome these problems, the OMCAP has started
"English Language Proficiency" classes to train the Overseas Job Seekers to equip
them with working knowledge of English with a systematic and organized syllabus in a
lucid manner.

MALAYSIAN INDUCTION TRAINING
Malaysia a Southeast Asian Nation, has population of 24 million of which nearly 2
million are of Indian origin and of these there are more than 1 lakh Telugu Speaking
persons. Recently Government of Malaysia has recognized India as a source country
supplying manpower. The Government of Malaysia has decided that from 1 st
November 2005, every intending worker to work in Malaysia must undergo an
Induction Training Course to obtain the Certificate of Eligibility (CE) before they get
working Visa by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. OMCAP is jointly
approved by Government of India and Government of Malaysia as a Training
Centre in Andhra Pradesh with Training Centre code "IND002"
PURPOSE OF INDUCTION TRAINING COURSE
The main purpose of the Induction Course is to make the intending workers to work in
Malaysia, familiar with, aware of and understand the various customs, culture and social
behavior in Malaysia. It also helps in preventing from committing any act that will breach
national laws and regulations i.e. the penal code, labor legislations and immigration act.
The induction course, which follows the syllabus developed by MLVK of Malaysia will
be conducted by OMCAP -IND002 in collaboration with Malaysian Training Providers
approved by MOHR.
