Silent Auction Rules
1. The Silent Auction will be open from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
2. Enter name, bid number, and bid amount on bid slips located on each table. All
bids must be made in $5.00 increments. (If not, we will round the number up or
down).
3. Bids will be posted until the final Bid Run. Notice will be given when the Bid Run
begins. During the last five minutes NO BIDS WILL BE POSTED.
4. Ties will be broken by luck of the draw.
5. No bids will be accepted after the board has closed. Final high bids will be
posted by paddle numbers.
6. Please check gift certificates for restrictions and expiration dates. The buyer
is solely responsible for contacting the donor to arrange for services. Gift
certificates are subject to restrictions as stated by the donor.
7. All items must be paid for and picked up the night of the Gala. All sales are
final and there are NO refunds or exchanges.
8. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
9. Values of items and services are donor estimates. Only the amount paid which
exceeds fair market value is deductible as a donation to St. Matthew the
Apostle.
