Charly, Provide a word splash for new vocabulary, title,
headings, etc-pg. 197,198. Intro. The story in the Lit. book
prereading activities pg. 196-brainstorm and discuss small
group (3 min) and whole-class(10 min).
SW – Participate in class discussion about relationships to
the words in the Word Splash and relate to the story.
Discuss at your tables and entire class.
