As a Data Analyst, you’ll use our proprietary Information-based Strategy (IBS) and
technological tools to convert data into usable information. Drive major corporate
initiatives by leveraging your analytical skills. Collaborate across business units –
you’ll be part of the full life cycle of projects. See end results while working
alongside top talent in our entrepreneurial atmosphere. We offer data analyst co-op
positions for 6 to 9 months in our Marketing and Analysis, and Operations
departments.
EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES

Extracting and analyzing data from existing data stores

Performing ad hoc queries, conducting root cause analysis, and delivering
sustainable business reporting

Developing and implementing new strategic tests

Leveraging data and conducting analyses
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving and conceptual skills

Strong desire to solve business problems by utilizing data mining tools and
coding that produce meaningful, concise and actionable sets of data

Degree in technical and quantitative discipline, including mathematics, computer
science, information systems, operations research or decision sciences

Familiarity with database design principles and data-flow processing

Knowledge of querying (SQL and/or SAS) and OLAP tools
PROGRAM DURATION

Co-op will run from August 2nd through December 17th 2010
