HEALTH INSURANCE DEADLINE: MARCH 31
The Affordable Care Act requires you to be enrolled in a Qualified Health
Plan by the end of this month (March 31). If you do not comply, the
federal government will take its penalty fee out of your tax refund next
year or add an additional amount of tax due.

HOME PRICES UP SLIGHTLY
Spokane's median sales price in February grew 3.8 percent from January
and 3 percent from one year ago, said Rob Higgins, executive officer with
the Spokane Association of Realtors.
Reading the numbers, we see one-third of existing homes sold in Spokane during February were
distressed sales.

NAR REPORT: HOME BUYER AND SELLER GENERATIONAL TRENDS
The National Association of REALTORS®, this week, released its new
report on Home Buyer and Seller Generational Trends.
The report tells us that . . .
All homebuyers now begin their home buying process online.
Younger buyers buy older homes; older buyers buy newer homes.
Younger buyers prefer to communicate with their REALTOR® by email and text message; older
buyers prefer to communicate with their REALTOR® on the phone.
