*For all sign-up events and Equipping courses, we do encourage members to cultivate a habit
to sign-up early as to help the task force in expediting their planning and preparation. The
other plus point in registering early is the non occurrence for late charges.
Thank you for your understanding!

WORD
Sermon Topic:
Forward 2015:
Intergenerational Church
(Matthew 28:16-20; 2 Timothy 2:1-2)
By Chris Kam, Deputy Senior Pastor
Deputy Senior Pastor Chris Kam shared about the intergenerational church with an emphasis
on the discipleship. Do we, no matter what age group we are in, have a spiritually matured
person we can turn to? Are we discipling anyone?




Read the scripture passage.
Do a THREE-MINUTE SUMMARY of the sermon highlighting KEY
POINTS – you do not preach the whole sermon again, as the
majority of your cell members would have heard the sermon
over the previous weekend. In this way, we want to allocate
more time for sharing in the cell through the application
questions below.
Transcript of the sermon at:
http://dumc.my/whats-up/sermon-schedule/
Questions for Discussion:
1.
What do you understand by the phrase “making disciples” in Matthew 28:19?
2.
What do you think 2 Timothy 2:2 means? Is that applicable for your CG and how?
3.
When you were new in your faith, who was instrumental in helping you grow? How?
4.
If you have an issue that you are stuck in, who would you go to for godly wisdom,
counsel and direction? If you don’t have anyone, how can you find that someone?
5.
Discuss how as a CG you can be involved in discipling new or young believers. Come up
with a process.
