David Loy was professor of philosophy and religion at Bunkyo University in
Chigasaki, Japan until January 2006, when he accepted the Besl Family Chair of
Ethics/Religion & Society, a visiting appointment with Xavier University,
Cincinnati, Ohio, that ended in September 2010.
