EXAMINATION
A.
Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
B.
Verify that prepared openings are sized and located in accordance with approved
shop drawings. Verify that reinforcement and anchoring devices are the correct type,
have been located correctly, and have been installed properly.
C.
If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of
unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
INSTALLATION
A.
Install toilet, bath, and laundry accessories plumb and level and in full accordance
with manufacturer's instructions.
B.
Locate accessories as indicated on the drawings and at heights that are in
accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act.
CLEANING
A.
Remove manufacturer's protective vinyl covering from exposed surfaces not more
than 24 hours before final inspection.
B.
Clean surfaces as required, following procedures and employing cleaning materials
as recommended by accessories manufacturer.

PROTECTION
A.
Protect installed products from damage by subsequent construction activities, until
completion of project.
B.
Field repair of damaged product finishes is prohibited. Replace products that have
been damaged by subsequent construction activities.
