Objective of Subject This course has the following objectives: To educate students regarding the legal, moral and ethical issues in business To create a sensitivity to the possible consequences of decisions made by businesses in accomplishing their profit objectives To train students in critical thinking in relation to moral/ethical analysis. 11. Learning Outcome of Subject At the completion of the subject, students should be able to: Define ethics and discuss how ethics applies to business practices. Identify the responsibilities a corporation has to society. Analyze on an acceptable risk for consumers, workers, investors and the environment. Discuss on some issue that related to diversity and discrimination in the workplace such as affirmative action and sexual harassment. Analyze many potential of immoral marketing practice and disclosure of information.
