10. Objective of Subject
This course has the following objectives:

To educate students regarding the legal, moral and ethical issues in
business

To create a sensitivity to the possible consequences of decisions made by
businesses in accomplishing their profit objectives

To train students in critical thinking in relation to moral/ethical analysis.
11. Learning Outcome
of Subject
At the completion of the subject, students should be able to:

Define ethics and discuss how ethics applies to business practices.

Identify the responsibilities a corporation has to society.

Analyze on an acceptable risk for consumers, workers, investors and the
environment.

Discuss on some issue that related to diversity and discrimination in the
workplace such as affirmative action and sexual harassment.

Analyze many potential of immoral marketing practice and disclosure of
information.

Examine the complexities surrounding the use of technology, particularly
in distribution of personal information.
