connected with death and judgement. The Middle East
(like middle earth) is where the book of Revelation will
be fulfilled. Do not every forget that it is through the
incense of prayer and praise on earth (the Tabernacle of
David) to God, that triggers the judgments on earth
(Rev. 5:8-10 leading to 6:1, and 8:4-5). There are many
suppositions concerning Saudi Arab. I ask again: What
does this mean to you and us? Judy Kesselman

As we were listening to a song about flying with the
Lord, I saw the sky filled with very large eagles with
long wing spans. All of the eagles were flying in perfect
harmony; all flying in the same direction at the same
height, wings flapping in perfect unison. The eagles
were carrying 50 people. The eagles that were not
carrying people would swoop down to the earth quickly
and ‘pick up’ people. These eagles would then fly back
to their original position in unison with the other eagles.
At the same time, I saw very large vultures, the size of
the eagles. The vultures were devouring the people
remaining on earth. There was very much blood all over
the earth. I then saw all the continents disappear
(vanish) except for the area of the Middle East. I then
saw and heard “The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is falling.”
It reminded me of when the statue of Saddam Hussein
was brought down.
Don’t get scared; get ready! We are going to soar
in the most awesome and terrible days!
Rebuilding
the Tabernacle of David
Part II
King David’s first attempt to bring the ark to Zion failed
due to ignorance of divine protocol. David’s heart intent
was superb but his misinformed execution cost a great
loss. In 2 Sam. 6:1-11 and 1 Chronicles chapter 13,
David gathered 30,000 chosen men of Israel and the
priests brought the ark out of Gibeah from the house of
Abinadab. They all played before the Lord meaning
they played a variety of instruments: harps, psalteries,
timbrels, cornets and cymbals (2 Sam. 6:5). The praise
was appropriate but, unfortunately, the choice of
transport (a new cart) was a grave mistake. The
Philistines had returned the ark to Israel on a cart
because of their ignorance of God.
They were
uncircumcised meaning they were not in covenant with
Jehovah God. But Israel was; and she must follow
proper protocol, just as New Covenant believers must in
our covenant terms. This error led to the death of Uzzah
***
What does this mean to you and us? The eagle is the
symbol of our nation. It flies high into the sun. It also
represents the prophetic and perhaps you remember the
large eagles rescuing Frodo and Sam, the hobbits, from
the final destruction of evil at the end of Lord of the
Rings. These eagles are in unity, the desire of Christ’s
heart for the Church. Fifty may represent the 50 states
of this nation but also biblically means liberty, perhaps
the freedom to fully flow in God’s Spirit. Vultures are
1
(2 Sam. 6:6) a son of Abinadab. God smote Uzzah for
touching the ark of His Presence. David was displeased
and afraid of the Lord and left the ark in the house of
Obed-edom. But it was there for only 3 months for the
word spread quickly that the household of Obed-edom
was truly blessed by the Lord.
Note that is habitation, not visitation. Habitation is a
continual manifestation of God’s presence. Also note
that God chose it. In Deut. 12:5 Moses instructed the
Joshua generation that they were to go unto the place
(4725) the Lord God choose to put His name to seek
Him.
This time David brought the Ark of the Covenant to
Zion in confident, due order (1 Chron. 15:13-16). The
sons of the High Priest covered the ark for the purposes
of travel, then the Kohathites [one of three lines of the
descendants of Levi (Gershon, Kohath, Meari)] carried
the ark by bearing the staves upon their shoulders (Ex.
37:5; Num. 4:4-15).1 According to Josephus (7.4.2)
before it (the ark) went the king, and the whole multitude
of the people with him, singing hymns to God, and
making use of all sorts of songs, usual among them, with
variety of the sounds of musical instruments, and with
dancing and singing of psalms, as also with the sound of
trumpets and of cymbals. It is recorded that David also
set seven companies of singers before it while he himself
played upon the harp. David was an extravagant
worshipper. He even leapt and danced before the Lord in
a linen ephod as would a Levite (2 Sam. 6:14, 16).2 And
Israel shouted with the sound of the trumpet as the ark of
the Lord came into the city of David.
Ps. 87:1-2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more
than all the dwellings of Jacob…
Ps. 78:68 …(The Lord) chose the tribe of Judah, the
mount Zion which he loves.
There appears to be contradictions here on the placement
of the ark but not so. Zion is a city within a city; Zion
(the city of David) is a city within Jerusalem. And once
King David brought the ark into Zion, the Lord dwelling
in their midst was identified as the Lord (Yehowah) of
Hosts (tsebaah), His most commonly used name; His
military name as Defender and Protector (2 Sam. 6:2) of
Israel. Zion is no longer the stronghold of the enemy; it
is becoming the stronghold of the Lord Most High.
Was the Tabernacle of David merely ohel, just a portable
tent in which one could dwell or store a piece of
furniture like the ark? Or was it mishkan, the
HABITATION OF JEHOVAH GOD? Though there
was no mention of FIRE and GLORY3 when the ark of
God’s presence took rest (1 Chron. 6:31) on Mt. Zion,
Jehovah did manifest Himself there.4 The true evidence
is in the Psalms sung before the ark. Several Psalms
(like Ps. 22:3) explain how praise enthrones God over
the nation or situation which will be explained in more
detail later. Psalm 132 (written by an unknown author
in the days of David’s rule) recalls David’s passion for
God and God’s passion for him and the ministry David
established. As soon as this lover of God, David, was
given rule over all Israel, his priority was the ark of
God’s presence.
2 Sam. 6:17 And they brought in the ark of the Lord,
and set it in his place in the midst of the tabernacle
(ohel) that David had pitched for it…
1 Chron. 6:31 ..the ark had rest.
David had provided a place of rest or a resting place for
the ark. After generous burnt offerings and peace
offerings were made, a rejoicing King David sent the
whole multitude of Israel home with gifts of bread, meat
and wine.
Ps. 132:4-5, 113-14 (David) I will not give sleep to
mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, until I find
out a place for the Lord a habitation (mishkan) for the
mighty God of Jacob…For the Lord hath chosen
Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation (sojourn).
(God’s response:) This is my rest (resting place) for ever:
here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
The ark is now on Mt. Zion in the tabernacle (ohel) that
David pitched in the city of David.
2 Sam. 5:7 …David took the stronghold of Zion; the
same is the city of Zion.
2 Chron. 1:4 …the ark of God had David brought up
from Kirjatah-jearim (Gibeah) to the place which
David had prepared for it; for he had pitched a
tent(ohel) for it at Jerusalem.
The Tabernacle of David was mishkan. And God said,
for ever. Remember that. Psalm 68 was written by
David to the Chief Musician in remembrance of the ark
coming to Mt. Zion. Consider this verse selection.
Ps. 74:2 …this mount Zion wherein thou (God) hast
dwelt.
Ps. 68:16-17 (Amp.) Why do you look with drudging
and envy, you many-peaked mountains, at the
Ps. 132:13 For God hath chosen Zion; he hath
desired it for his habitation…

There was no Fire and Glory yet because the blood covenant it represented
had not yet been cut with the precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Even Moses spoke with God face to face in Exodus 33:11 in the Tabernacle
of the Congregation before His Glory filled and came upon it in Exodus 40.

mountain [of the city called Zion (the Church)] which
God has desired for His dwelling place? Yes, the
Lord will dwell in it (the Church) forever. The chariots
of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon
thousands, the Lord is among them as He was in
Sinai, [so also] in the Holy Place (the sanctuary in
Jerusalem).
Heb. 10:19-22 Having therefore, brethren, boldness
to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a
new and living way, which he hath consecrated for
us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; and
having a high priest over the house of God; let us
draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled from an evil
conscience, and our bodies washed with pure
water.
Mt. Zion is equated with Mt. Sinai where there had been
thundering, lightening, the cloud of His GLORY and
FIRE (Ex. 19:16-17). Other Psalms written by David
also declare Jehovah’s manifest presence.
Jesus made the way for us to minister within the veil.
The Tabernacle of David demonstrated and heralded this
New Covenant Order of Worship long before our
covenant was even cut at our Lord’s Last Passover Seder
on earth through His shed Blood on the cross. So let’s
take care in learning our present ministry from the O.C.
type.
Ps. 26:8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy
house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
Ps. 9:11 Sing praises to the Lord which dwelleth in
Zion.
Psalm 46 refers to multiple tabernacles (miskan) of the
Most High. At that time in history there was two: one
here on earth; and one in Heaven: natural Jerusalem and
the heavenly Jerusalem equated with Zion (Heb. 12:22).
David appointed certain Levites to minister before the
ark of the Lord. There is no record of any veil between
them and the ark of His Presence. They were precisely
instructed to record (or bring to remembrance what God
has done), to thank and to praise the Lord of Israel with
psalteries, harps, cymbals, trumpets and songs
continually (1 Chron. 16:4-6). David hired, yes, hired
4,000 Levite musicians and 288 Levites singers to
minister to God (1 Chron. 25:7, Ps. 134-1-3) nonstop.
The first psalm selection was a psalm of instruction
written and presented by David on that first day (1
Chron. 16:8-11; Ps. 105:1-4).
Ps. 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall
make glad the city of God, the holy place of the
tabernacles (mishkan) of the Most High.
This is the first written connection (I know) between the
praise and worship before the throne in Heaven and the
praise and worship on the earth. We will see later that
they merge together so Heaven can invade earth. Yes,
the Tabernacle of David WAS and IS mishkan, a
habitation of the Most High God in continual
manifestation.
1 Chron. 16:7-11 Then on that day, David delivered
first this psalm to thank the Lord into the hand of
Asaph and his brethren. Give thanks unto the Lord,
call upon his name, make known his deeds among
the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him,
talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his
holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek
the Lord. Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his
face continually.
So what is the Tabernacle of David to us? It was the
preview or demonstration of our New Covenant Order of
Worship for we are spiritual Zion. The Tabernacle of
David is our God-chosen, ordained ministry. So let’s
start by comparing the Old Order (the Tabernacle of the
Congregation or Tabernacle of Moses) and the New
Order of Worship (the Tabernacle of David). Under the
Old Order, the Levitical priests which were the
descendants of Aaron ministered in the inner court and
holy place daily. Their sacrifices included the blood of
animal sacrifices and burnt offerings, meal, wine,
incense and oil. Only the High Priest went behind the
veil (between the holy place and the most holy place)
before the ark of God’s Presence once a year (Yom
Kippur) for the atonement of the sins of Israel as a
nation. A rope was tied around one leg so should he die
in God’s holy presence, his body could be retrieved.
Overall only the priests ministered before the veil and
only the High Priest entered before the ark (God’s
manifest presence) once a year. But it is so different for
the New Covenant priests, for Jesus, our Lord, removed
the veil.
David defined our New Covenant ministry to the Lord
very clearly. Our Order of Worship is: declaring God’s
great works TO Him, giving thanks TO Him, singing
praise TO Him, playing instruments TO Him, seeking
Him, seeking His might, and seeking His face (His
manifest presence among us) CONTINUALLY. We are
all kings of the Tribe of Judah and we are all priests
under the order of Melchizedek. Jesus is our High Priest
and physically He was and still is of the tribe of Judah.
Judah means praise. God has chosen (Ps. 78:68) praise
for our spiritual sacrifices and victorious warfare. David
wrote at least 73 psalms. Solomon only wrote two.
Moses wrote one or two. Asaph, Heman and Ethan, who
were all involved in the Tabernacle of David wrote all
the rest except 12 which the author’s identity is not
revealed but they are sung by the sons of Korah. Of the
3
150 Psalms, 93 were directed to the chief musician to be
composed for the musicians and singers TO minister
before the ark of God’s Presence. There are also 15
songs of degree, i.e. songs of ascension to Jerusalem for
the annual three feasts. Consider these very few psalms
and particularly the impact of their praise TO God upon
their enemies just to give a little insight for now.
Later the Apostles Peter and Paul would concur within
letters to the churches. The power of praise TO God is
beyond understanding.
Eph. 5:18-20 And be not drunk with wine, wherein
is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to
yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody in your heart TO
the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto
God and the Father in the name (authority and position)
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ps. 9:1-3, 11 I will praise thee, O Lord, with my
whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous
works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing
praise to thy name, O thou Most High. When mine
enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish
at thy presence…Sing praises TO the Lord which
dwelleth in Zion…
Phil. 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I
say, Rejoice.
Col. 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Remember, we are Zion. He dwells in and among us.
Ps. 20:2, 7 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and
strengthen thee out of Zion…Some trust in chariots,
and some in horses; but we will remember the
name of the Lord our God.
Heb. 13:5 By him (Jesus) therefore let us offer the
sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the
fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.5
The continual praise and worship before the ark brought
strong defense and victory to Israel and to David as king
and will to us also. The next two Psalms of David speak
of our ministry and again the protection we gain through
our ministry to the Lord.
1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a
spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up
spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus
Christ.
David’s prophetic word of Ps. 22:22 is spoken through
Jesus upon His resurrection. In the midst of the Church
(us), He (Jesus) sings praise TO His Father (Heb. 2:22).
This is a ministry of our High Priest, Jesus, and us, His
New Covenant priests unTO God (Rev. 1:6).
Ps. 27:1, 4-6, 8 The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear: the Lord is the
strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?...One
thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek
after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all
the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of
trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion; in the
secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall
set me up upon a rock. And now shall my head be
lifted up (in honor) above my enemies round about
me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices
of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the
Lord.
Acts 16:25 …at midnight Paul and Silas prayed,
and sang praises unto God…
And God answered with an earthquake and unshackled
prisoners. There are times for other sacrifices of fasting
and repentance but this is an offering to be
CONTINUALLY given unTO God. These praises are
not just about God but TO God. Our complete focus
must be upon Him, and our ministry TO Him, not
ourselves, nor our needs etc. He will take care of that.
And it must be CONTINUAL.
Because this was written by David, we know that the
house of the Lord does not refer to Solomon’s Temple.
House here is referring to the Tabernacle of David. I
believe David frequented the Tabernacle. Like Joshua in
Exodus 33:11, he was drawn to God’s presence.
Both the Tabernacle of Moses and the
Tabernacle of David remained pitched during the rest of
David’s reign until Solomon built the Temple. But in
that time frame they were two distinct and separate
entities.
Ps. 29:1-2 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give
unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the
Lord the glory due unto his name: worship the Lord
in the beauty of holiness.
1 Chron. 16:37, 39-40 So he (David) left there before
the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his
brethren to minister before the ark continually as
every day’s work required. (Tabernacle of David at Mt.
Our praise empowers the Lord of Hosts to protect us.

powers and acts of Darkness and release His Light of

priests, before the tabernacle (former mishkan) of the
Lord, in the high place that was at Gibeon to offer
burnt offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the
burnt offering continually morning and evening,
and to do according to all that is written in the laws
of the Lord, which he commanded Israel.
singers to minister before the ark, one group of 12 each
hour. Twelve times 24 is 288. They sang praise and
thanks including prophetic new songs TO the Lord
24/7/365 after the ordinance of King David, a type of
Christ. But unlike the Tabernacle of Moses, there is no
mention of God’s FIRE and GLORY in or upon the
Tabernacle of David at this time. Why? Because, The
Sacrifice to ratify the New Covenant, had not yet been
made. It would be 1,000 years before David’s Seed, The
Son of David, would go to the cross and empower the
N.C. Order of Worshipers. The time for His FIRE and
GLORY on the Church has begun and will morph
around the globe in these days of End-days.
The Tabernacle of David was standing on Mt. Zion in
Jerusalem while the Tabernacle6 of the Lord (from
Moses’ day) was taken and pitched on Mt. Gibeon.
Zadok, the priest, and his brethren assisted in bringing
the ark to Mt. Zion and then returned to Gibeon to
minister as usual at the brazen alter and laver in the court
and the table of showbread, menorah and altar of incense
in the holy place. These were all religious duties
without the ark (without the manifest presence of God),
for when His glory left in the last day of Eli and his sons,
His glory never returned to the Tabernacle of Moses and
neither did His ark.
By the start of Solomon’s reign as king both the
Tabernacle (mishkan) of David on Mt Zion and the
Tabernacle (ohel) of Moses7 on the high place at Gibeon
were both still in operation. Though the ark was not
there, Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings to the
Lord at Gibeon. He was determined to carry out his
father’s desire to build a house (bayith)8 for the name of
the Lord (2 Chron 2:1) for his father, David, had long
had it in his heart to build a house of rest for the ark of
the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our
God (1 Chron 28:2). King David gave his son,
Solomon, the pattern of all that he had by the spirit (1
Chron. 11-12) just as Moses had seen the heavenly
pattern while on Mt. Sinai. And David stored up much
gold in preparation. Finally the Temple was built not in
Gibeon and not on Mt. Zion but on Mt. Moriah where
Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son, Isaac.
Abraham’s willingness was accounted as done so the
God in covenant with Abraham had legal rights to
sacrifice His Son for all mankind later on Mt. Calvary.
The ark of God’s presence was on Mt. Zion where
singers and musicians sought His face or presence
CONTINUALLY. The CONTINUALLY of the N.C
type, the Tabernacle of David, is rendered as 24/7/364;
whereas the CONTINUALLY of the O.C. type, the
Tabernacle in Gibeon, was daily at morning and
evening. How do we know the ministry of the
Tabernacle of David was 24/7/365? The proof is found
in first Chronicles chapter 25 concerning the musicians
and the 288 singers. In verse one, King David and the
captains of the host (the military leaders) set apart the
Levites: Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to oversee the
musicians and singers. By the way, they were chosen
because they were prophetic. Each one was called a seer
(1 Chron. 25:5; 2 Chron. 29:30, 35:15). Remember
these chosen Levites are a type of the N.C. believers.
The only people anointed in the O.C. were the kings,
priests and prophets but every N.C. believer is a king
and priest (Rev. 1:6) and all may prophesy (1 Cor.
14:31). This is our ministry.
Ps. 48:1-2 (Amp. for Sons of Korah) Great is the
Lord, and highly to be praised in the city of our
God! His holy mountain. Fair and beautiful in
elevation is the joy of all the earth – Mount Zion [the
City of David], to the northern side [Mount Moriah
and the temple], the [whole] city of the Great King!9
1 Chron. 25:6-7 All these were under the hands of
their father for song in the house of the Lord, with
cymbals, psalteries, and harps for the service of the
house of God, according to the king’s order to
Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. So the number of
them with their brethren that were instructed in the
songs of the Lord, even all that were cunning, was
two hundred fourscore and eight.
Notice the whole city. There was still a city within a
city. Once the Temple structure was finished, it had to
be furbished.
2 Chron. 5:2 Then Solomon assembled the elders
of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of
the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem,
to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out
of the city of David, which is Zion.
(The house of God here refers to the Tabernacle of
David not the Temple which will be built in Solomon’s
days of rulership.) They cast lots in verse 8 and then
verses 9-31 lists all the names of the 24 groups of 12
Since the departure of God’s glory from the Tabernacle Moses pitched, I will
refer to it as the Tabernacle of Moses, not the Tabernacle of the Lord or the
Congregation.

A bayith has many meanings but here to make it simple think of the bayith
as a dwelling place not moveable as an ohel. A bayith of God would be
mishkan.

Remember we are the New Jerusalem, the city of our God.

Though the Tabernacle of Moses is still called mishkan, the Glory of God
(His manifest presence) never returned after leaving the day Eli and his
wicked sons died.

the nation of Israel was in its full glory enjoying peace,
prosperity and kingdom expansion. Unfortunately after
Solomon’s reign, Israel was split. The ten northern
tribes of Israel worshiped the gold calf until their
captivity in Assyrian. And most of the kings of Judah
dismissed the 24/7/365 worship ministry and went after
strange gods. Judah would then fall into judgments of
war, famine, plague repeatedly as did northern Israel. Of
all the descendants of David as kings of Judah after
Solomon until the Babylonian captivity, only a few
walked in the ways of their forefather, David. Only
those few were right in the sight of God. And only those
few reinstated the Levite singers and musicians (the
Tabernacle of David). And when they did, the nation
was once again protected and blessed. Let’s take a quick
review of those righteous few.
The priests brought all the holy vessels and furniture
from the Tabernacle of Moses except the ark which
came from the Tabernacle of David.
They put
everything in order as did Moses in the first tabernacle.
The Tabernacle of David merged or indwelt the
Temple; whereas, the Tabernacle of Moses was replaced
by the Temple. At the dedication of the Temple we find
the inside view in second Chronicles chapter five and the
outside view in chapter six and seven. The singers and
musicians are INSIDE while the priests of Zadok are on
the OUTSIDE. Outside, the priests made animals
sacrifices as King Solomon prayed in chapter six.
2 Chron. 7:1-3 Now when Solomon had made an
end of praying, the fire came down from heaven,
and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices;
and the glory of the Lord filled the house. And the
priests could not enter into the house of the Lord,
because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s
house. And when all the children of Israel saw how
the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon
the house, they bowed themselves with their faces
to the ground upon the pavement, and worshiped
and praised the Lord, “saying, For he is good: for
his mercy endureth for ever.
For example, in the days of Jehoshaphat (2 Chron. 20),
three nations came against Jerusalem. The king sought
God, claiming their covenant rights through Abraham in
prayer before the people. Jehovah swiftly replied
through Jahaziel a Levite descendant of Asaph (a
prophetic singer) prophesying that the battle was the
Lord’s and not theirs. So the next day as they went out
to battle, Jehoshaphat appointed singers unto the
Lord…that should praise the beauty of holiness before
the army saying, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth
for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the
Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon,
Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah
and they were smitten (2 Chron. 20:21-22). Later in the
days of Hezekiah (2 Chron. 29), there are similar results.
Hezekiah recognized the sins of previous rulers,
specifying that they had turned away their faces from the
habitation (mishkan) of the Lord (2 Chron. 25:6). He
repaired the house of the Lord or Temple and resanctified it with repentance and reinstated the ordinance
of David.
Inside the Levite singers and musicians were also
offering up sacrifices of praise to the Lord with
psalteries and harps. And 120 sounded trumpets.
2 Chron. 5:13 It came even to pass, as the
trumpeters and singer were as one, to make one
sound to be heard in praising and thanking the
Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the
trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music
and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his
mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was
filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; so
that the priests could not stand to minister by
reason of the cloud for the glory of the Lord had
filled the house of God.
It is within these sacrifices we notice UNITY. All the
sacrifices i.e. the animal sacrifice of the O.C. and the
sacrifice of praise of the N.C. type of priests are
accepted. This is a picture of the O.C. and N.C. worship
merging. It is like the 24 elders before the throne of
God. Twelve is the number for divine government and
twelve elders represent each covenant both old and new
ever before our God Eternal. These two entities
(Tabernacle of David and Temple of Solomon) became
one. But the God life is within. The structure is dead.
Another way to express this would be that the Temple’s
physical structure was bayith (like ohel) but the
indwelling of God’s spirit was mishkan.
2 Chron. 29:25-30 And he set the Levites in the
house of the Lord with cymbals, with psalteries,
and with harps, according to the commandment of
David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the
prophet: for so was the commandment of the Lord
by his prophets. And the Levites stood with the
instruments of David, and the priests with the
trumpets. And Hezekiah commanded to offer the
burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt
offering began, the song of the Lord began also
with the trumpets, and with the instruments
ordained by David king of Israel. And all the
congregation worshiped, and the singers sang, and
the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until
the burnt offering was finished. And when they had
made an end of offering, the king and all that were

time, Nehemiah came to rebuild the wall around
Jerusalem (UNITY). The singers are mentioned several
times. The singers and Levites were appointed as
responsible for the temple gates to help guard the city
(Neh. 7:1). Their number had now increased to 245
(Neh. 7:67). And not only was there provision for all
that worked on the wall and gates, there was continual
provision for the singers (Neh 10:39) thereafter.
Note the worship of both covenants together. Once
again the Tabernacle of David (New Covenant
worship) was merged with the Temple (Old
Covenant worship). Hezekiah also led the people to
keep Passover with the singers present and in
return the Lord healed the people (2 Chron. 30:20)
for there had not been such a celebration since the
time of Solomon. GOD HEALED A NATION for
their return to the ordinance of David and the
ordinance of God in keeping Passover. Will He do
for us any less! Unfortunately, Hezekiah’s request
to live while on his death bed was answered, and in
that extended time Manasseh was born. Manasseh
was one of the most wicked of the kings of Judah,
but his son Josiah walked in the ways of David. He
sought after God (2 Chron. 34:3). He had idols
taken down, the temple cleansed, the priests of the
sons of Aaron sacrifice lambs, and the Levite
singers (descendants of Asaph, Heman and
Jeduthun, the king’s seer) to praise after the
command of David (2 Chron. 35) and to keep the
feast of Passover.
Neh. 12:45-47 And both the singers and porters
kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the
purification, according to the commandment of
David, and of Solomon his son. For in the days of
David and Asaph of old they were chief of the
singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto
God. And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and
in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the
singers and the porters, every day his portion…
They were supported financially. They were paid to
worship as commanded by King David.
One observation I wish to add to this period of building
the second Temple. In the book of Ezra the word
Temple is used nine times, house (as for the house of
God or Temple) over 50 times. This is the natural house
(bayith) which is given far more reference than the
spiritual house of worship by the singers and musicians.
Why? Ezra was a descendant of Zadok the priest (Ezra
7:2) who ministered at the Tabernacle of Moses, the
O.C. form of worship. And Ezra sought the law.
As good as those few reigning kings were, the majority
was wicked and alas, the overwhelming sins of Judah
eventually brought the departure of God’s glory (Ezek.
10) from Solomon’s Temple and then their Babylonian
captivity. The Temple was ICABOD. No Glory. No
manifest presence of God. About 70 years later when
Ezra returned from Babylon to rebuild the Temple, the
singers came along and were ready to serve. There were
128 singers of the children of Asaph and a total of 200
singing men and singing women (Ezra 2:41, 65). And
when they laid the foundation of the second Temple, the
singers and musicians began to once again minister TO
God.
Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek
the law of the Lord and to do it, and to teach in
Israel statues and judgments.
That is good but the N.C. worshipper as exemplified by
David is not to seek just the law or ways of God but to
SEEK GOD HIMSELF CONTINUALLY, i.e. to seek
Him, His presence, His Person, His face in continual
praise and worship with thankful hearts. Though this
period was a step forward for restoring the whole
worship both O.C. and N.C., it favored the O.C.
worship.
Ezra 3:10-11 And when the builders laid the
foundation of the temple of the Lord, they set the
priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the
Levities the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise
the Lord, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.
And they sang together by course in praising and
giving thanks unto the Lord because he is good, for
his mercy endureth forever toward Israel. And all
the people shouted with a great shout, when they
praised the Lord, because the foundation of the
house of the Lord was laid.
Also in those days of Ezra, Nehemiah and Zerubbabel,
there is again no mention of FIRE or GLORY in or upon
the second Temple at its dedication. In the days of
Herod and Jesus, there is no mention of Fire or Glory in
or upon the remodeled second Temple later destroyed in
70 AD. Why? The ark of God’s presence never returned
to the second Temple after His Glory left in Ezekiel
chapter ten, just as it never returned to the Tabernacle of
Moses after Eli’s wicked sons removed it. What is
worship without Presence? You have it! Unger says the
ark was probably removed from Solomon’s Temple or
destroyed by the Babylonians. Knowing God always

has a faithful remnant, I and others believe it was hidden
deep within Mount Calvary. And on that day when our
Lord hung on the cross, the earthquake opened the
mount and His Blood dripped right down on the mercy
seat of the ark before He ascended into Heaven to
sprinkle His Blood before the throne of God on the third
day.
COUNTDOWN
By Judy Kesselman
In the mid nineties the Lord showed me a 33 year span of time
for the maturation of the Bride of Christ. It started at modern
day Israel's first Jubilee (1 Tishri 5760 to 16 Iyar 5761 i.e.,
1999-2000) and will continue to 2032 that the End-Day
Church MAY come to full maturity in unity, character and
works as did our Lord BEFORE passing the baton of the Good
News of Christ to the 144,000 Jews of Revelation 7. But it
depends on what we do NOW! The Church must AWAKE
and ARISE! Rebuilding the Tabernacle of David at this time
is very important. Amos and Luke confirmed its purpose to
reach the lost (Amos 9:11-13; Acts 15: 16-17). Jesus said, the
Father seeks worshipers to worship in spirit and in truth (Jn.
4). Are you one of them?
Are you an awakened
congregation willing to help support or start a Tabernacle of
David for this region or another and prepare to thrust your
entire congregation into the harvest fields? (See easy,
effective harvest tools [PCS] in Be the Light free download at
Contact Page www.touchofheaven.org.) The harvest is ready!
Is the Church? We do not know how much longer we have!
The 144,000 Jews will be commissioned by the Lord
sometime before the 3rd harvest season of 2029-2032. (See
details at www.touchofheaven.org Prophetic Words for the
Nation - Three Harvest Seasons on Home Page and Last
Season for Lost in Newsletter vol. 12. no. 3.) We do not know
how long the present day Church will be here. At this time
there are no prophetic words for the Church beyond 2012. It
all depends on what we do this year (2011)!
So why did Haggai prophesy that the glory of the latter
house would be grater than the former (Solomon’s
Temple)? Haggai was not prophesying of the second
Temple but the day of Jesus, the first-fruit Living,
Spiritual Temple Who was filled and clothed upon with
God’s GLORY (Luke 3:22, 4:1). He was made flesh
(ohel) to tabernacle (mishkan) among us (Jn. 1:14). For
Jesus His sacrifice of 40 days in the wilderness was
accepted by FIRE, then He was filled and clothed upon
with God’s GLORY and moved in the miraculous (Luke
4:18). But it also speaks of His Bride thereafter. Isaiah
was a young contemporary of Amos, who prophesied
that once again His FIRE and GLORY would be
manifested in the earth. Not in the Tabernacle of Moses.
Not in the second natural Temple or third that man will
rebuild before Anti-Christ makes it his throne. And not
just in the Messiah Jesus as He walked the earth or the
Millennial Temple of His reign on earth (Ezek. 43:1-5)
with priests of the line of Zadok (O.C.) (Ezek. 44:15)
and the singers (N.C.) (Ezek. 40:44). But it will come
before to display this spiritual Temple throughout the
earth in and upon and among His Bride, the Church, and
Israel in these Last Days.
This 33 year span of time is very significant concerning our
Messiah and us as His End-day Bride. King David, a type of
Christ, reigned 33 years over all Israel from Jerusalem. From
His loins was promised by God, The Seed to rule eternally.
Later, Jesus Christ, David’s Lord and also descendant in flesh
sojourned among us on this earth for 33 years working in the
miraculous ministry foretold in Isaiah 61 before purchasing
mankind’s salvation with His own precious Blood.
The
Lausanne Covenant of the nations to fulfill the Great
Commission in unity has been in place now 33 years. This
span of 33 years is also exactly aligned with the 33 year
periods noted by William Branham (1933-1966, 1966-1999)
making it the third or final of three 33 year periods: 19992032. Personally, my husband and I are presently in our 33rd
year of marital union as Jew (my husband) and Gentile (I).
Michael became a believer shortly after our marriage and just
recently we received God’s confirmation when we discovered
that he is of the Levite family from which King David
appointed the singers and musicians for the Tabernacle of
David. This is our call (as well as many others): to build a
place for 24/7/365 praise and thanksgiving before the Throne
of Grace and fill it with trained worshippers that God may
arise to reign for the salvation and transformation of this
region and nation that the Bride of Christ may walk in the
fullness of His Spirit and encourage believers to reap a harvest
in 2011.
Eph. 2:19-22 Now therefore ye (Gentile believers) are
no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints (Jewish believers), and of the
household of God. And are built on the foundation
of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself
being the chief corner stone; in whom all the
building fitly framed together groweth unto a holy
temple in the Lord. In whom ye also are being built
together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.
This Temple construction is nearing completion. The
FIRE and GLORY of the Lord has come and is coming
to the Church in global proportions before His return and
there is a connection to the rebuilding of the Tabernacle
of David. The FIRE and GLORY of God will manifest
when we SEEK HIS FACE CONTINUALLY.
TO BE CONTINUED…
As I continue to study I am learning more and more
so in the future there may be additions made to
these lessons which I have not yet shared.

A red moon rose on December 21st (winter solstice), the
darkest natural day of the year because the times are darkening
as God shakes the heavens and earth. That red moon appeared
exactly two years before the estimated end of the Mayan
calendar Dec. 21, 2012 beyond which there are no prophetic
words concerning the Church. But that doesn’t mean the end
of the world but rather, will the Church shine forth the Light
of the Gospel fully reflecting the Son or eclipse (meaning, be
obscure, darkened,, hidden from view)? We must RISE and
SHINE! I see the red moon as a reminder of our ministry as
believers as entitled in the book: Red Moon Rising: How 24/7
Prayer is Awakening a Generation by Dave Robert. What is
the ministry of the Church? Is it just meeting on Sundays?
No. Mount Zion was a type of the Church. The Tabernacle of
David was a type of the ministry of EVERY believer
especially in these End-days. And when we do what we are
to do, the harvest will flood into the everlasting arms of
Christ. We can not delay. If you would have me deliver an
awakening and motivating message, please email me at
info@touchofheaven.org. God bless you and keep you.
