1、My goal for Field Research report
Find out the research program and laboratory which I am interested in, and assess myself
from the academic performance to personal characteristic to determine the universities or
colleges I fit to.
1）About myself
I’m interested in the power system field. I want to learn more about it. Although I know some
universities in China also have excellent labs and professors, why I want to pursue a PHD
degree in America? I think the reason is that I want to acquire not only the sophisticated
knowledge but also an experience of living in a different cultural country, expand the horizon of
knowledge and life. I’m not the person who is satisfied with the current situation easily, I want
to pursue a better situation within my ability.
2）About my research field
I have learned from my teacher who came from American a few months ago as a scholar that
the power system in America develops rapidly in these two years. It has some opportunities of
jobs in this field.
