 Tutorial classes run from Tuesdays to Thursday from 16:00; Saturday from 8:30 to
16:30.
NOTE: Please note that tutorials are not the same as daily lectures that are run by
full-time conventional universities,
Who is your Tutor?
A tutor is a professionally qualified person employed on a part-time basis by UNISA.
How can I participate in tutorials?

In a face –to –face tutorial, students and tutor(s) meet regularly at a common venue and on
scheduled times. These tutorials are conducted for one hour per course per week or two hours

with your tutor(s) and other students (peers) and get a better understanding of the challenging
areas of your study material.
4.3.1.1.2.

at different remote locations to see and talk to each other in real time.
