SEDUCING KNOWN PERSONS IN THE TRAP AND ROBBING THEM.

In one rare incident a case vide FIR No. 67/2011, U/S 392/394/411/34 IPC, P.S.

Connaught Place was got registered by a French National namely 'Sebastien Marcaillou'.

He was on visit to India and was staying at Park Hotel, Connaught Place New Delhi. One girl namely 'Sarika Choudhary' had friendship with him from last 4/5 yrs. They were quite intimate to each other and during his previous visit to India he even stayed at her residence located at Friends Colony. They were in continuous touch with each other. He came to

India on 14/04/11 at Mumbai and on 16/04/11 he checked into Park Hotel. As per their appointment he contacted him on her phone number around 5:30 PM and asked her to join him. At 6:30 PM she came to Hotel on her blue colour Honda Jazz car with registration no.

DL4CNC 4671. The complainant asked her to come to hotel but she resisted to go inside the hotel and called him to come out. He boarded the car and she began to drive towards the interior of New Delhi. When they were driving through an isolated patch he noticed that their car was being followed by three strangers on red motor bike. After some distance she halted the car and two of the bike riders hurriedly came to him. While one of them opened the complainant's side front door and started punching him on his face the other occupied the rear seat of the car and caught him from his neck and she continued to drive.

They began searching all his pockets and took away his wallet with visa cards, 200 Euros,

White gold ring and chain with pendent, Tissot watch, two mobile phones and black colour leather bag containing sun glasses and some clothes. After robbery the complainant was pushed out of the slowed down car at the deserted place near Golf link New Delhi.

The French National was shocked by this brutal incident and took a few minutes to recollect and screamed for help. Thereafter one of the public person informed the police.

He doubted the conduct and role of Sarika Choudhary, her intimate friend whom he met every time he visited India.

Eventually a raiding party was constituted under the supervision of

ACP/Connaught Place and intensive search operations were conducted during the intervening night of 16/17-04-11. The Jazz car involved in the incident was located and below mentioned accused persons were arrested.

After sustained interrogation and rigorous endeavors the raiding party recovered the below mentioned looted case property:

The police party also recovered the following vehicles used for the operation by the accused persons.

Accused Meenu Malhotra divulged that she was fast after money as she was losing out years. During a chance meeting at a night in a renowned restaurant she came across one bouncer Naresh Gaur and developed friendship with him. By the passage of time two more persons Amit @ Sonu and Yash Kumar @ DK noted above also came in contact with her.

They used to meet in evenings at different places and they jointly conspired to do some task for easy money. She gave the idea of calling her old and faithful friends known to her for years together as they had been very miser while paying her. A long list of such friends was available with her. They began their task recently. She revealed that she wanted to target vulnerable persons whom she knew already as they refrain from reporting to police out of public infamy and disgrace.

IPL T-20 CRICKET MATCH AT FEROZESHAH KOTLA GROUND ON 19. 04. 2011

IPL T-20 cricket match between Delhi Daredevil Vs Deccan Chargers, will be played at Ferozeshah Kotla Ground on 19 th April 2011 from 4.00 p.m. to

8.30 p.m. Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements for traffic diversions and restrictions, parking of vehicles, traffic circulation, pedestrians’ movement and safety of the visitors in and around the Stadium.

PARKING

There is very limited parking for labelled vehicles in the proximity of the

Stadium. There is no parking for general vehicles in the proximity of the Stadium.

No vehicle shall be allowed to be parked on Bahadurshah Zafar

Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (both the carriageways) on the match day.

Vehicles parked on these roads shall be towed away and action will be taken as per law.

PARK & RIDE FACILITY

For spectators park & ride facility has been created at following places:-

1. Mata Sundari Parking. 2. Shanti Van Parking.

All the spectators coming in their vehicles shall reach these Park & Ride sites, alight there and avail either “Park & Ride” facility or walk down to the stadium. After the conclusion of match, spectators are advised to reach park and ride places through shuttle service or walking down.

Car parking label holders are advised to take Ring Road, JLN Marg, Asaf

Ali Road or Bahadurshah Zafar Marg. ‘U’ turn at Delhi Gate is allowed. Entry to parking labels P, P1, P2, P3, P4, are from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg only.

ACCESS TO THE STADIUM

(I) Gate Nos. 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 are located on the Southern Side of the

Stadium and entry to these enclosures are from Bahardurshah Zafar Marg.

(II) Gate Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are located on the Eastern side of the stadium on the road and entry is from J.L.N. Marg next to Ambedkar

Stadium Bus Terminal.

(III) Gate Nos. 16, 17 and 18 are located on the Western side of the stadium and entry is from BSZ Marg next to Petrol Pump.

DIVERSION/RESTRICTION FOR THE MATCH

Diversion at the time of commencement of the match:-

No unlabeled vehicles will be allowed from Rajghat crossing towards Delhi Gate and from Delhi Gate towards Bahadur Shah Zafar

Marg from 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

People are requested to avoid following roads from 2.00 p.m. to

4.30 p.m. when the spectators would be coming to the stadium and congestion is expected:-

Ali Marg.

Display of car parking label on windscreen is mandatory. Vehicle number must be written on the parking label. Those who do not display parking label with vehicle number will not be allowed in the proximity of the stadium.

NOTORIOUS ROBBER ARRESTED WITH THE RECEIVER IN

ROPE CUTTING CASE AND STOLEN PROPERTY WORTH

RUPPES 16 LAKHS RECOVERED FROM THEIR

POSSESSIONS.

With the arrest of (1) Raju @ Shivna , aged 30 years, s/o Sh.

Dashrath Mahatama r/o Village Dugi Kajra, PS Kajra, District Lakhisarai (

Bihar) and (2) Hari Babu @ Dabar aged 46 years s/o Sh. Ram Swaroop r/o H. No. 466, Gali Mata Wali, Teliwara, Delhi-6, officials of North District police have busted the gang of rope cutter and receiver of stolen property.

127 cartoons of stolen property of electronic items i.e. Telephone Socket,

Switch, Electronic, Type Fan Step Regulator etc worth rupees 16 Lakhs have been recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On 16.4.2011, information was received by AATS Staff of North

District that the notorious rope cutter Raju @ Shivna, who has recently stolen electrical items from the area of PS Murthal (Sonipat), is present in front of Petrol Pump, near Inder Lok Metro Station and is waiting for his associates with the motive to commit another theft. On receipt of this information, a raiding party consisting of SI Prabhanshu, ASI Om Prakash,

HC Ishwar, HC Braham, Ct. Ravi, Ct. Amit and Ct. Sanjay was constituted under the leadership of Shalender Tomar, Insp./AATS North and overall supervision of Sh. R. K.Singh ACP/Operation Cell, North District. Acting upon the information, a trap was laid near Inder Lok Metro Station and the said rope cutter was apprehended. After sustained interrogation he confessed that 4/5 days back he along with his associates namely Kamal,

Ramesh @ Montu, Ali and his brother-in-law had stolen electrical items after cutting ropes of the Tata 407 No. 3515, which was parked near a

Dhaba situated at G. T. Road, Murthal. 35 Cartoons of electrical items were recovered from his Jhuggi in the area of Pool Mithai. On the instance of Raju @ Shivna, the receiver Hari Babu @ Dabar was also nabbed and 92 cartoons of electrical items were recovered from him.

Subsequently, both were arrested vide DD No. 7A u/s 41.1(D), 102 Cr. Pc. at police station Sarai Rohilla.

INTERROGATION

During interrogation, Raju @ Shivna stated that he is indulged in such activity for 10 years. Previously he was arrested in one case of robbery registered at PS Nangloi, Delhi and one case of preparation of dacoity registered at PS Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. Later on, he started theft from the loaded vehicles parked at the isolated place. He further disclosed the names of his associates in such type of theft, as Kamalia @

Kamal, Ramesh @ Montu, Khokan, Raju and Ali. He further disclosed that they used to park vehicles in night hours adjacent to the trucks parked in the road sides. They used to cut the ropes and other covering material with the help of scissors and blades. He also disclosed that they used to sell these stolen/robbed goods to one Hari Babu @ Dabar.

Hari Babu @ Dabar stated that he is Bad Character (BC) of PS

Bara Hindu Rao and used to purchase the stolen articles. During interrogation it was revealed that he was previously involved in numbers of cases for receiving the stolen articles. Lastly, he was arrested in the case of killing of a dog. Efforts are on to apprehend the associates of Raju @

Shivna. Further investigation of the case is in progress to know their other involvements.

CONTRACT KILLER ARRESTED WITH PISTOL & STOLEN

MOTORCYCLE

South District Police has arrested one Contract Killer Immamul

Hasan @ Inaam, age 25 years s/o Sh.Nizamuddin R/o Mohalla Gorkhi

Kasba, Sikandarbad, District Bulandshahar, presently putting up at

DDA Flats, Zafarabad, who had previously committed three murders and had been evading his arrest. One loaded country made pistol and one stolen motorcycle were recovered from his possession.

INFORMATION, TEAM & ARREST:

There were a few incidents of vehicle thefts in the area of P.S.

Saket. In order to prevent such incidents a police team consisting of ASI

Shashi Kant, HCs Satender, Vinod, Tara Chand, Vijay pal, under the supervision of Inspr. Dharam Dev, and Rajender Singh, SHO/Saket and

Sh. Mehar Singh, ACP/Hauz Khas was formed. On 17-04-2011 at about

5PM when the team was checking the vehicles with the help of barricades at NBCC Plaza, Pushpa Vihar intercepted one motorcycle No.

DL-7S BA-3791. The pillion rider who was later on identified as Nuasad during the melee managed to escape but Imaamul Hasan @ Inam was arrested when a loaded pistol was found in his possession. On further enquiry, the recovered motorcycle was also found to be running with a fake number plate and stolen from the area of Jamia, Okhla. Hence, a case was registered for the possession of pistol and stolen motorcycle at

P.S. Saket vide FIR No. 134/11 u/s 411/482 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act and investigation was taken up.

INTERROGATION:

The arrested person was interrogated at length who disclosed that he had been involved in 3 sensational murder cases in the area of

Delhi and Sikandarabad.

 In 2004, he had shot dead one person namely Samsul at

Chauhan Bangar, Jafrabad, Delhi with the help of his associates namely Tayyab @ Langra, Sakil@ Ghanti, Billy and Nafees. The case was registered at P.S. Seelampur and two accused persons namely Shakeel @ Ghanti and Nafees were arrested, but other persons including Inaam remained out of the police dragnet. This was a case of rivalry ensued over the distribution of Satta money.

 Again in 2006 the accused had murdered one person namely Rizwan S/o- Abdul Rahim R/o Sikandarabad with the help of Naushad resident of Mustafabad. He shot at

Rizwan in Sikandarabad and his associate Nausad silted

his throat following a gang rivalry. Later, in the fall out of this murder, Dilshad, the brother of Nausad was killed by Rashid, the member of the rival group. Both Inaam and

Naushad had developed intense grudge against the members of rival gang and now planning to eliminate

Rashid.

 In the year 2010 he had also shot dead a person namely

Akbar in the area of Sikandrabad, Bulandsahar with the help of his associates Ikram @ Rehaan, Rizwan and

Payjama. In this case Inaam by using his acquaintance called the deceased from his house and other criminals waiting outside shot him dead. The accused had taken huge amount of money in each murder.

The accused had also planned to eliminate Akbar Kabadi in near future at the instance of his associate Ikram lodged in Tihar Jail because

Akbar had tipped off the police regarding activities of Ikram and thus on his tip off he was arrested. Ikram wanted to take revenge of his arrest therefore called Inaam from Sikandarabad to accomplish the task in association of Naushad. But the timely arrest of the desperate contract killer had saved the life of a person engaged in police help.

MODUS-OPERANDI:

The accused is a contract killer and he remains in disguise of a businessman dealing in vegetable supply in Delhi. His associates when arrested did not disclose his name due to his desperateness and with the intention that he is capable to settle score on their behalf when they are lodged in jail.

All the concerned police stations in Delhi and outside are being informed regarding his arrest and revelation he made in regards to these murders.

RECOVERY:

ABDUCTION & MURDER CASE OF MCD

TEACHER VIJAY SOLANKI SOLVED.

With the arrest of one accused namely Arvind Azad, the staff of PS Khyala, West District has worked out a murder case of Vijay Solanki S/o Harbir Singh.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

Arvind Azad S/o Sh. Subhash Chander Azad R/o RZC-59

Nihal Vihar New Delhi Aged 27 years is Un- Married son of

Senior Bank Manger of Nationalized Bank and employed as

Primary Teacher in Municipal Corporation Primary School

(Govt. School).

INCIDENT

On 31/03/2011, Sh. Harbir Singh R/O H. No. 21 Matiala

Village, Delhi made a complaint that his son namely Vijay

Solanki employed in second shift as primary teacher in MC

Primary School No. 2 Chand Nagar, Khyala went to his duty. At

4.15 PM he got a telephonic call on his mobile number

9250377227 from the mobile No. 9211378005 which belongs to his son Vijay Solanki but the caller was Arvind Azad employed as a teacher in the same school. Arvind Azad told him that his son became ill and they had taken Vijay Solanki to Park

Hospital for treatment, now Vijay Solanki is feeling better and he is coming to their house. Sh. Harbir Singh directed Arvind

Azad to bring Vijay Solanki at District Centre Janakpuri. Sh.

Harbir Singh reached District Centre Janakpuri within 15 minutes but Arvind Azad was nowhere. He waited upto 6:30

PM and in the meantime the colleagues of his son namely

Rakesh and Vikas Kumar reached there. Rakesh and Vikas informed Sh. Harbir Singh that a party was organised by Arvind

Azad in the school. All the arrangements were made by Arvind

Azad and Vijay Solanki. Arvind Azad offered a juice pack to

Vijay and after consuming the same juice the condition of Vijay deteriorated. Vijay Solanki was brought to Park Hospital for

treatment. After examination doctor advised admission but admission was refused by Arvind Azad on the pretext that he is taking Vijay Solanki to his house and took Vijay Solanki in his

Maruti 800 Car No. DL-9C J 7347. The complaint was entrusted to S.I. Surya Prakash for enquiry.

INVESTIGATION

On 01.04.11 when suspicion raised, a case vide FIR No.

57/11 u/s 365 IPC was registered at PS Khyala and investigation was entrusted to ASI Rajender Singh. On

02.04.2011 at 8:20 AM, Sh. Mahavir Singh Solanki uncle of

Vijay Solanki came to PS and informed that they had got a telephonic message from PP Kharawar, PS Sampla District

Rohtak (Haryana) regarding lying of a dead body on the road side, they had identified the dead body as of Vijay Solanki.

Keeping the gravity of the incident the investigation of the case was entrusted to Inspector Anil Kumar Chauhan (Inspr Crime

Investigation) PS Khyala. A team consisting of SI Rajesh and

Ct. Rajesh headed by Insp Anil Kumar reached at PP

Kharawar, PS Sampla, inspected the dead body and collected the PM report. The upper part of the body was found in burnt state with object to conceal identification. Sections of law

364/302/201 IPC were added into the case.

During investigation the car No. DL-9C J 7347 was also recovered from the area of P.S. Adrash Nagar N.Delhi. It was also found that both Vijay Solanki and Arvind Azad were very good friends. The bank statement was analysed and it was revealed through the bank statement of Vijay Solanki that an amount of Rs. 2200.00 was withdrawn from his account on

01.04.2011 through ATM card from ATM Saharanpur branch.

The video footage revealed that the transaction was made by

Arvind Azad. Elaborate search of Arvind Azad was made.

ARREST MADE

On receipt of secret information the accused Arvind Azad

S/o Subhash Chandra Azad was apprehended on 17.04.11

from the area of PS Moti Nagar by the team of Insp Anil Kumar

Chauhan (Insp Crime Investigation) PS Khyala.

INTERROGATION

During sustained interrogation the accused Arvind Azad broke down and confessed his role in abduction and killing of his colleague & friend Vijay Solanki on sharing of profit on property. Arvind Azad also revealed that he & Vijay Solanki had taken loan of more than 12 Lacs from different Bank and invested the same amount in property to earn the profit in short span of period. Their relation became soar on sharing of property that leads to matter of dispute. Vijay Solaki refused to pay the share to Arvind Azad. In the month of Feb. 2011 Arvind

Azad planned to eliminate Vijay Solanki. Arvind Azad got the information about the “Party Drugs” from Internet, purchased from the market and on the day i.e. 31.03.11 injected the said drugs in the tetra pack of Juice with the help of syringe which leads to deterioration of the condition of Vijay. Vijay was brought to Park Hospital. Arvind Azad informed the Sh. Harbir

Singh from mobile of Vijay Solanki, put the Vijay Solanki in his car No. DL-9C J 7347, again injected the same drugs into the body of Vijay Solanki when he about to regain consciousness.

When presumed dead, went to disposed off the body in lonely place, purchased the petrol in bottles form the Petrol Pump, threw away the body on the roadside, poured petrol and set ablaze in the jurisdiction of PP Kharawar P.S. Sampla Rohtak.

The car No. DL-9C J 7347 was parked in the area of P.S.

Adrash Nagar N.Delhi and boarded the bus from ISBT to

Haridwar. The Mobile phone & articles were thrown at

Haridwar, then proceeded to Sharanpur and withdrawn an amount of Rs. 2200/- from the account of Vijay Solaki through the ATM Card of Vijay Solanki. Arivnd Azad made valiant efforts to avoid his arrest by making telephonic calls from one station to another, by sending SMS and writing letters that he will end his life but in vain and ultimately could not escape from the clutches of law.

Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

INFORMATION /OPERATION

In order to curb the increasing crime trend of M.V. theft in the area of PS Mianwali Nagar, a special team consisting of ASI

Balvinder Singh, HC Gurcharan Singh, Ct. Shailender Singh & Ct.

Satya Parkash under the leadership of Inspector Rajesh Kumar,

SHO/Mianwali Nagar was constituted which was working under the close supervision of Sh. Satish Yadav, ACP/Punjabi Bagh. The special team started vehicle checking at T-Point, Jwalapuri, Main

Rohtak Road, In front of DTC depot, Nangloi. At about 01.45 PM on a tip off, police personal stopped a pulsar Motor cycle No. HR-51Z-

8773 for checking which was driven by Mohd. Sameer S/o Mohd.

Sabir R/O E-445, Kathputli Coloni, Bihari Colony, Shadipur Depot,

New Delhi. He was asked about the documents of the vehicle but he could not produce the same. On inquiry, he disclosed that the Motor

Cycle has been stolen from M2K Rani Bagh, Delhi with the help of his associate Sonu. During further sustained interrogation, he also disclosed that he alongwith his friend Sonu has stolen two other

Motor Cycles from the area of P.S. Maya Puri and Paharganj respectively and one scooter from the area of PS Punjabi Bagh. On his tip off, one motor cycle and one scooter were recovered from near Metro Station Parking, under Shadipur flyover and one motorcycle from Moti Nagar Metro Station Parking, to sell the same later on.

INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI

During interrogation the accused person confessed that he alongwith his associate namely Sonu have formed a gang which has been indulging in many cases of M.V. Theft. They used to steal the motorcycles at night for enjoyment and also to get fast money by selling them. He further revealed that they were involved in many cases of auto lifting.

Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

A team of officers of the Anti Auto theft Squad led by Inspr. Bal

Krishan Sharma consisting of SI Ajai Kumar Yadav, SI Ahtesham Abbas,

Ct. Deepchand, Ct. Vipin, Ct. Ravinder and Ct. Varun, under the supervision of Sh. V.K. Kalia ACP/Operations, has arrested one person peddling in drugs and recovered 22.5 Kg. of Opium.

Information was received by SI Ajai Kumar Yadav that one-person namely Shamsuddin resident of Pul Prahaldpur, Delhi is indulging in trafficking of opium in Delhi. This information was further developed and after keeping surveillance over his activities, details about his mode of delivery and source of procurement were verified. On 17.4.2011, SI Ajai

Kumar Yadav received specific information that today Shamsuddin will come on a two wheeler scooter to supply huge quantity of opium to some one at Bus Stand Okhla T Popint M.B. Road New, Delhi. On this, SI Ajai

Kumar Yadav laid a trap along with team at Bus Stop Okhla T Point M.B.

Road, Delhi. At about 5:25 PM one person whose name and address was later known as Shamsuddin s/o Md. Mainuddin R/o V.P. Singh Camp

Railway Colony Pul Prahaldpur New Delhi coming rom Badarpur side was apprehended. During his search, 22.5 Kg. of opium was recovered from his possession. A case vides FIR No. 93/11 u/s 20/25/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at PS Pul Prahaldpur against him.

On interrogation of the accused Shamsuddin, it was revealed that prior to indulging this illicit business he was working as a tailor in Delhi and about two and half months before he came in contact with one supplier namely Ganesh of Noida who is a opium supplier in Noida. On

17.4.11 he came to deliver opium to one Akram of East Delhi.

Further efforts are being made to locate the suppliers and receivers of the contraband and to crack the network.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

Keeping in view recent incidents of vehicle thefts in South-

West District, local police was asked to collect intelligence about gangs involved in auto lifting. Upon this a team of police Station

deployed to gather information. In the evening of 17/4/11 an information was received that members of an auto lifting gang will be going to Gurgaon via Dwarka. On this information, the above mentioned team was deployed and a trap was laid near Sec. 21 Dwarka Metro Station. Checking of vehicles were intensified. At about 6:30 PM four persons coming in a

Hyundai Tucson No. HR- 26 Z 4690 having red beacon light, were stopped for checking. Initially they argued with the police team and pretended/impersonated as kins of VIP and refused to show the documents. Police party gathered their wits and pressed for verification. Meantime they rolled up the windows & tried to reverse car in haste, but finding the matter suspicious the team swung into action and all the car occupants were over powered.

On interrogation, the car occupants could not produce the

documents of the Hyundai Tucson car and confessed that the car was a stolen one. On verification, it was found to be stolen vide

FIR No.44/11 u/s 379 IPC PS Dwarka Sec.23.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

On sustained interrogation, the accused persons revealed that they are good friends, school mates and resident of same locality. They have many girl friends and in order to buy gifts for them and to live a lavish life, they indulge in crime.

They carry master key and strike generally in the day time. After evaluating the risk factor, they steal luxury cars which are found parked in residential/market areas of Dwarka, Naraina, NCR region i.e Gurgaon. They further revealed that when they don’t get success in stealing four wheelers, they steal motor cycles which are found parked in residential societies of Dwarka. On getting the above information, the above team swung into action and on the pointing out of accused persons five stolen luxury cars, two stolen motorcycles have also been recovered.

Accused Shashank further revealed that a week ago he used this car with beacon lights and entered easily in the Govt flats of Lodhi Colony by introducing himself as a VIP and had ransacked a flat which was found locked. Accordingly, stolen house hold articles have also been recovered. Apart from above, accused Shashank confessed and got recovered a gold chain which was snatched in the last month from Sec. 19 Dwarka. A revolver has also been recovered from the possession of accused Shashank

The staff of PS. Jagat Puri has busted a gang of professional

Kidnappers and rescued the kidnapped boy Rashid(name changed) age 4 years who was kidnapped by them from Bullandshar, UP.

RECEIPT OF INFORMATION & TEAM :

A secret information was received by Ct. Jeet Pal, that two professional kidnappers who have kidnapped a minor boy from

Bullandshar, UP are hiding alonwith the kidnapped boys somewhere in the

area of Shastri Park Delhi. The kidnappers were looking for a safe hide out for keeping the child till the ransom amount is delivered. They are likely to come in search for a rented room in the area of Jagat Puri near 40 foota road near Masjid, Jagat Puri. On receipt of this information, Ct. Jeet Pal shared the information with Inspr. Rajinder Singh Adhikari, SHO/Jagat

Puri immediately.

Keeping in view the sensitivity of the information and gravity of crime, immediately a team comprising of SI Hasrat Ali, SI C.P. Singh,

HC Balbir Singh and Ct. Jeet Pal under the close supervision of SHO/Jagat

Puri was formed. The police team positioned itself near 40 foota road near

Masjid Jagat Puri, Delhi. The team was briefed and detailed at various points near Masjid 40 foota road, Jagat Puri. At about 12.45 pm one person came there under suspicious circumstances. Finding the police presence, he tried to escape from that place but the team acted swiftly and apprehended him. He was later identified as Nadeem s/o Fateh

Mohammad r/o Village Padwana, PS. Khan Pur, Distt. Bullandshar, UP.

During interrogation Nadeem disclosed that he along with his associate

Mazhar had kidnapped the boy Rashid (name changed) s/o Sahabuddin r/o Heera Pur Road, Kidwai Nagar behind of Syana bus stand,

Bullandshar, UP and the kidnapped boy has been kept in H. No. F-161,

Gali NO.5, Shastri Park, Delhi. Without loss of time at the instance of

Nadeem, raid was conducted at Shastri Park and Mazhar was apprehended and kidnapped boy Rashid( Name Changed) was safely rescued from the clutches of kidnappers. During their sustained interrogation, it emerged that they had kidnapped the child with the help of Chand (real uncle of the victim). Immediately after kidnapping the boy they demanded Rs. 6 lacs as ransom amount from the father of the victim. They had fixed date 16.4.11 for taking delivery of ransom amount in Gokalpuri, Delhi area. On the personal search of accused Nadeem the mobile phone of father of the victim was also recovered. MODUS OPERANDI:

Nadeem and Mazhar got in touch with the victim’s father posing themselves as businessman and wanted to meet him in that connection. As per plan and appointment both of them visited the residence of the victim’s father in Bullandsaha on 14 th -15 th night. Mazhar offered cold drink to Shahbudin and his wife (Victim’s parents) laced with some drugs. After consuming the cold drink both of them became unconscious. As soon as they became unconscious, they kidnapped the child and came back to Delhi and kept the child at safe hide out for negotiation.

PROFILE:

Both the accused persons are in the age group of thirties.

They are illiterate. They have been exposed to crime before. They took help of their previous expertise in crime in this case also. Mazhar is an expert in robbing people after mixing drugs in eating substances, while

Nadeem has previously been involved in kidnapping for ransom case. In the year 2006 he had kidnapped an 8 year old child in Mustafabad and was later arrested. While he was facing trial in prison he came in contact with Mazhar. After release from prison both of them decided to commit crime together.

BRIEF FACTS / INCIDENT :

On 17.04.11, Sh. Ramzaan along with his nephew Wasim

Khan visited PS Narela and reported that on 15.04.11, they had gone to attend a function at the house of one Wasim Ahmed in

Village Kureini, Narela, Delhi. One Lokesh @ Doza along with his friends had also come to attend the function. His nephew Wasim

Khan had an altercation with Lokesh over a trivial issue. The complainant Ramjaan had slapped his nephew and scolded him for having acquaintance with such quarrelsome boys. On this,

Lokesh felt humiliated and threatened both of them to face dire consequences. He further reported that on 17.04.11, Lokesh rang up him and threatened to kill them. Further, Lokesh asked him to come at SRHC Hospital, if he wants to resolve the issue but he did not go there as he had sensed his intention of revenge.

Immediately, a team comprising of SI Mohd. Yakub, HC

Arif Khan No.1203/OD, HC Om Prakash No.262/OD, Const. Raju

No.1083/OD and Const. Yogesh No. 909/OD under the supervision of Inspr. Satish Kumar, SHO/Narela was constituted to apprehend the accused persons. A trap was laid near SRHC

Hospital and the complainant was asked to remain standing in open. At about 1.30 PM, 7-8 persons came on three bikes and surrounded the complainant and two of them took the complainant at gun point. When the members of team narrowed on them, accused Lokesh fired at HC Arif Khan but fortunately the bullet did not hit him. The alert members of team

overpowered four accused without giving them further chance to fire but their others associates managed to escape from the spot on two motorcycles. On search, 1 country made pistol, 1 live cartridge and 1 fired cartridge recovered from the possession of accused Lokesh, 1 country made pistol and 1 live cartridge recovered from accused Anuj, 1 button actuated knife recovered from accused Gaurav Sharma and 1 dagger recovered from accused Kuldeep. Motorcycle bearing Regn. No. DL 8SAQ 9287

(Pulsar) used in commission of crime was also recovered. In this regard, a case vide FIR No.172/11 dated 17/04/2011 u/s

307/186/353/332/506/120B IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, P.S. Narela was registered and investigation taken up.

INTERROGATION :

On interrogation, accused disclosed that he had some altercation with the complainant and his nephew namely

Waseem Khan on 15/04/2011 in a birthday party organized in

Village Kureini. During quarrel, Ramjaan had passed some comments on him due to which he felt insulted and decided to take revenge from them. As per his plan, he called the complainant at SRHC Hospital and reached there along with his associates duly armed with deadly weapons to take revenge from him. He also disclosed the names of absconding criminals as Deepak s/o Suraj Bhan, Deepak s/o Ramesh both r/o Narela and Gaurav @ Happy s/o Satbir r/o Village Ghoga, Delhi.

Motorcycle recovered from accused Lokesh was found to be registered in the name of his father. Further investigation is on to located the absconding accused persons.

GANG OF AUTOLIFTERS BUSTED – 3 ARRESTED – 4 VEHICLES

With the arrest of three persons namely (1) Md. Saleem, aged 28 years s/o

Md. Nafis r/o Mohalla Hazipura, Gali No. 5, P.S. Shamli, Distt. Muzaffar Nagar

(U.P), (2) Mohd. Yasin, aged 35 years s/o Md. Muslim r/o Vill. Bhasera, P.S.

Khatauli, Distt. Muzaffar Nagar ( U.P.) and (3) Deen Mohd., aged 37 years s/o

Shaukat r/o Vill. Bilaspur, P.S. Nai Mandi, Distt. Muzaffar Nagar ( U.P.), the

Central District Police has busted a gang of auto lifters involved in the theft of motor cycles from the area of walled city (i.e. the areas of PSs Darya Ganj, Jama

Masjid, Chandni Mahal etc.) and PS Shalimar Bagh. The accused person namely

Md. Saleem is the autolifter while the other two are receivers. He has confessed

having stolen a number of motor cycles from the areas of the above police stations. Four stolen motorcycles have so far been recovered.

INCIDENT AND THE TEAM.

On 9.04.11, one Sh. Ashish Bhatia s/o Sh. Madan Lal Bhatia r/o H.No. 704/9,

Chawri Bazar, Jama Masjid, Delhi also reported that his Motor Cycle No. DL-

7SAS-5902, Bajaj Discover has been stolen in the previous night from front of his house. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 15/11 dt. 9.4.11 u/s 379 IPC was registered at P.S. Jama Masjid, Delhi and the investigation was taken up.

However, in view of the increasing incidents of vehicle thefts in the area, a special team comprising of Insp. Arun Kumar, ATO/Jama Masjid, SI Ali Sher, ASI

Dharambir Singh, HC Ashok Kumar No. 1609/C, Ct. Kanwar Singh No.1748/C, Ct.

Yashpal No. 1180/C, Ct. Anuj No. 932/C, & Ct. Sunil Kumar No. 1778/C led by

Insp. I.K. Jha, SHO/ Jama Masjid was constituted under the supervision of Sh.

Subhash Thukral ACP/Darya Ganj, Delhi. Patrolling in the area was enhanced and special anti auto theft pickets were deployed in the area as per the strategy formulated to put a check on the menace.

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION

During the course of investigation while performing picket checking at Police

Booth, Jagat Cinema, one person was seen coming on a motorcycle from Nukkar

Faiz who was signaled to stop who tried to flee away but was apprehended alongwith the stolen motor cycle No.DL-7SAS-5902.

He was subjected to sustained interrogation during which he confessed about his involvement in the above case of PS Jama Masjid. On further interrogation, he disclosed having committed the theft of a number of other motorcycles in association with one Wasim, a resident of Khatauli (U.P.). It was further disclosed by him that these motorcycles were disposed off through his accomplices namely Yasin, Deen Md. and Guljar r/o Village Sikrera, Khatauli,

(U.P).

Both the accused person namely Yasin and Deen Mohd. were also apprehended and 3 more stolen motorcycles (stolen from the areas of PSs Chandni Mahal -2 and Darya Ganj -1) were recovered from their possession. Accused Gulzar is still at large.

Further investigation is in progress to apprehend the remaining accused and to recover the other stolen motorcycles.

Farman (brother of one Gulzar) at his barber shop in AL Block, Shalimar Bagh,

Delhi where he came in contact with Gulzar and Wasim and took to crime for earning easy money.
