Summary of Commercial, Office, and Industrial Lease Space
The inventory of commercial, office, and industrial space is conducted twice a year. The
inventory provides the City and various interest groups with the most accurate accounting of
businesses and lease space availability and a general barometer of the “economic marketplace” in
Aberdeen. Industries in Aberdeen include government, professional, manufacturing, business,
personal and retail services, and hospitality. August 2014 inventory represents a strong
longstanding business climate in the City but we are faced with challenges in the commercial
business parks. The table below provides the percentage of occupied lease space in Aberdeen:
