Weds. 1) Review and correct pg. 64 actividad 11 1) Still sitting in pairs, students will look at the picture on pg. 70 Actividad 1. They will follow the model and describe the picture orally. The mini conversations need to be logical. 2) Students will write out pg. 71 actividad 2 and will provide either por or para according to the rules on pg.61; they should underline their answers. 3) Using the worksheet #3 De Compras (both sides), students will look carefully at the picture and write out the answers in complete sentences 1) Review the gramática box on pg. 63 : the future tense 2) Write out pg. 64 actividad 11 using the future tense of the verbs. Underline the verb and translate to English. Modelo : Saldré con Ismael el sábado por la noche. I will go out with Ismael on Saturday night. 3) Students will review the vocabulary (los pasatiempos) on pg. 65. 4) They will then look carefully at the flyer on pg. 65 “Campamento Monteverde” and write the activities they will and will not do when they visit the camp and why. Modelo: No esquiaré en el agua porque tengo miedo. 1) In groups of 4, students will share their plans for el Campamento Monteverde by reading the sentences and reasons from yesterday to each other. Then each student will write a summary of the plans. Modelo: Yo esquiaré en el agua pero María, Ana y Paco no esquiarán. Or Nosotros todos esquiaremos. 2) Complete the worksheet entitled prueba: el futuro de verbos regulares Thurs. 1) Correct prueba: el futuro de verbos regulares 1) Sitting in pairs, students will read the sheets entitled “El futuro”(there are 40 statements about the future) 2) After reading each prediction students will mark ; I for imposible; P for possible or C for cierto and will give a reason(orally to the group) for their opinion (en español) ** Remind students to print out the checklist from my website tonight. Fri. 1) In pairs, students will share their librito entries and peer edit. 1) Using the checklist they printed out from my web site, students will gather up all of their assignments, clip them together and hand them in. 2) The student’s name and period must be on every assignment 3) Every assignment must be labeled and dated 4) Clip all assignments together with the checklist as a cover page. 5) Libritos should be collected by class and left on the shelf by the windows. ** Remind students: My website has a mid-term format and review document.
