POINDEXTER’S PAGE # 26 This week we will read Red Eyed Tree Frog and have our Theme 6 cumulative tests. Please review each day. If you know a child that will be five on or before September 30, 2014, please remind the child’s parents to register him or her for kindergarten. Have your child read to you every day. Each Friday your child will be allowed to bring in one item for “Show and Share”. Your child will be learning how to write a description and “Show and Share” will help make the process much more fun and engaging. Each student will write a description of his/her item each Friday and his or her goal is to see if I can guess what they brought from their description! Reading Review-Theme 6 Dear Parents, Your child will have a test on the Theme 6 stories and reading words this week. Students will have to read twenty words chosen from this list. They will also have to read sentences made from these words. In addition, your child will have a skills and comprehension test. In order to study for the tests, please review the reading words and the skills listed below. Students will also need to know all story vocabulary for each story.
